Dr. Kim is a perfectionist in every sense of the word. His patient care is beyond anything I’ve ever experienced, he has set the bar very high for any other doctor. He takes the time to explain the procedure process in detail and the results are exceptional. If you want a gentle caring doctor with a high level of integrity then go see him.

Dr Kim is hands down, the best plastic surgeon! I work in the medical field, so when it came time for me to consider a breast revision, I knew I wanted to find someone that I trusted. I went to 10 different consults with various plastic surgeons, and knew right away when I met with Dr Kim that he was MY guy. Both him and his office staff always made my husband and I feel very comfortable, never rushed and completely informed about all steps of the pre and post op process. From my first initial consult, to the day of my surgery, post op appointments and months after.... Dr Kim has exceeded all of my expectations as a professional and caring surgeon. I highly recommend him to everyone and will only go to him for future plastic surgery needs.

Out of the Park surgeon consult. Dr Daniel Kim provided exceptional guidance regarding a breast revision consult. He explains things well, is patient, kind, and exceptionally thorough, taking a lot of time in his multi-step, yet comfortable assessment and discussion with you. His range of experience with different techniques is atypical, so you feel you are getting the best advice for YOU. This is not a cookie cutter office, and I felt he could be trusted to safely gude me on surgical goals. I hope I can arrange to come to Laguna area CA for a revision with Dr Kim. I was very, very impressed, and I’ve worked with doctors and surgeons for 30 years. He is a gem.

After having 2 c-sections, I was in dire need of a tummy tuck! I had visited several plastic surgeons but none of them made me feel as comfortable as Dr. Kim. He took one look at my tummy and immediately knew that I had a hernia. His staff and everyone there is wonderful. Dr. Kim has great bedside manners and answered every question I had in detail and was very caring. Their office even helped me coordinate with an OB/gyn doctor so I could have my tubes tied at the same time. The surgery went very well and I LOVE my results. My tummy now looks like it did when I was in my 20’s (even better)!! I couldn’t be happier with the results. 3 years later, I’m going back to Dr. Kim for a rhinoplasty revision and breast augmentation. I would never consider going to anyone else. He is hands down the best surgeon who really takes pride in his work and it shows in his results.

As a 68 year old male, I was both skeptical and nervous about physical altering surgery. ( Didn't want the finger pointing.."hey, what did you do?") Recently retired, I wanted to address those concerns I had that I couldn't when working 60 hrs a week and flying all over the country. Bags under my eyes, double chin...you got the picture. First took up boxing to lose weight...boy, does that work. Second, change the look, not too much, subtle if you know what I mean. Recommendation from my Internist was Dr Daniel KIm. Best recommendation I've had since a friend introduced me to my wife. Dr KIm explained different procedures (laser, sculpting, surgery, etc) and pros & cons of each. Net-Net: Dr Kim sets the bar extremely high for other cosmetic surgeons. He and his staff should be the standard of comparison for all others. My recommendation? I'll steal from the NIke commercial and say: "Just Do It!".

The day I met Dr. Kim I knew he was the surgeon I wanted to help me. At 54 I had lost 50 pound, but had a roll of fat and skin that pulled down over my bikini line that was very uncomfortable and didn’t allow me to wear pants. We discussed all of the options and we decided that a tummy tuck would produce the best results. My husband was very much against my having surgery at first and met with Dr. Kim to discuss the risks and benefits. Dr. Kim explained in detail what the risks would be and all of the precautions that would be taken by him and the surgery center. We felt very strongly that an overnight stay in a surgery center was key….and it was. Just having that first night to be cared for and monitored and the fact it is right next to Hoag Hospital was very reassuring. We decided to have the tummy tuck in January with a follow-up of a liposuction in July to avoid damaging the newly stretched skin. The first 2 weeks after the tummy tuck were demanding and limiting, but got through it thanks to the support of my awesome husband. There were several follow-up meetings with Dr. Kim for wound care and emotional support. It has been a year now and I couldn’t ask for a better outcome. I had a great experience with Dr. Kim. I originally had breast implants approximately 15 years ago, and was not overly pleased with the experience or outcome. As a result of a car accident, and the force of the seat belt against my right breast, my right implant was severally distorted. Dr. Kim replaced both implants, and crafted them in the most beautiful shape. I was especially pleased with Dr. Kim’s demeanor. I was afraid to undergo any type of surgery, and had consulted with multiple plastic surgeons in the area before settling on Dr. Kim, but I knew instantly he was the surgeon for me during my first visit. Dr. Kim was gentle and patient in explaining the procedure to me, over the course of numerous consultations. Further, he helped me to select the best look for me, which may not have been my first choice. Separately, I have to say that his staff, including especially Christine, were amazingly friendly and courteous. The highest accolade I could give him, is that I have recommended him highly to friends.

After having two kids, back problems and overweight I decided to have a tummy tuck. Dr. Kim is great he explains every treatment with details and answer every single question do you have . His office staff is great very friendly and polite . I definitely recommend Dr. Kim

Dr. Kim is wonderful!! I lost over 100 pounds a few years ago (through diet and exercise) and had a lot of excess skin around my tummy area. My friend recommended Dr. Kim to me and besides loosing weight, having a tummy tuck was the best thing I've ever done for myself. Dr. Kim did a wonderful job and my tummy has never looked better. The transformation is amazing!. Dr. Kim is patient, thorough, and answered all of my questions without ever rushing me. I was so nervous, I even made a couple of additional pre- op appointments to ask more questions. His staff was always helpful and friendly too.
