I am a 45-year-old mother of 4 (ages 12-21). I have lost 100 pounds since January of this year through diet and exercise. I am going to have a belt lipectomy, breast augmentation with lift and outer thigh Lipo. At the end of March, I'm going to have inner thigh and arm lipo, I thought I left and brachioplasty.

From the start Dr. Burr Von Maur was extremely friendly and was attentive to all of my concerns and needs. I was amazed at the time he spent with my husband and I going over endless possibilities of what could be done. In the end, I actually let him make the final decision as to what breast size and shape to use that best fit my body. As you can see by the rest of this review, it was a great decision on my part! He and his staff thoughtfully walked me through the process and the end result is unbelievably beautiful. The follow up care was excellent, and I was very surprised with the minimal pain during my recovery.I would definitely recommend Dr Burr Von Maur to anyone interested in the new body they are envisioning!

At 53, after weight loss, everything headed south! I scheduled a consultation with CosmetiCare based on their relationship with my weight loss surgeon. After the initial visit, I was convinced Dr. von Maur knew exactly what I needed to reshape my body. I originally wanted an arm lift, and upon his recommendation, I added a tummy tuck. WOW - what an amazing difference!My tummy is flatter than it was in high school! Dr. von Maur took incredible pride in helping me regain the body AND self-confidence hidden under my sagging skin. He also recommended an aftercare recovery home that proved PRICELESS (since I underestimated the recovery process). And would you believe, he visited me MULTIPLE times at the recovery home? Seriously, who does this anymore? I trust him so much; I'm working on scheduling my next procedure. His level of compassion is second to none. Dr. von Maur, will always have my vote!

This is the perfect word to describe my wonderful experience with Dr. Burr von Maur. I had a Breast Implant Exchange from Mentor Saline implants (325cc) to Mentor Memory Gel X-tra Silicone (525cc) Implants. From Cheri Thompson, my Super Awesome Patient Consultant to his entire lovely, fun, positive Staff and beautiful office, I now have the most Perfect set of Twins! Dr. Von Maur answered all of my questions, has a great sense of humor, and I would be proud to highly recommend him.

When I first met Dr. von Maur, I was referred by my ENT. I thought I wanted to get some abnormalities fixed on my nose after sinus surgery but the sinus surgery was painful so I decided not to go through with it. Still, I was really impressed with Dr. von Maur so I went back to him when I wanted a breast augmentation. The experience was great. I got see computer imagery of what I'd look like after the procedure. The results was perfect.

For me, going to Dr. von Maur was more medical than cosmetic. When I was 22 I had a kind of reconstructive breast implant surgery with silicone implants. In April one side started swelling up and doubled in size within two weeks. It turns out I had capsular contracture, scar tissue forming around the implants. I needed emergency surgery to remove them. I saw Dr. von Maur, did the pre-op the following day, and was able to have the surgery the same week. After the implant exchange surgery, one of my breasts swelled up, so it seemed my body rejected the new implants. Dr. von Maur didn't take a chance by waiting and pumping me with drugs and antibiotics in case it was just an infection that would go away. Instead, he took the safe route and removed them immediately. He will try to put implants in again in a few months and see if they take.

My saline implants I had done in 2003 were getting encapsulated so that you could actually see the distinction between my natural breasts and the implants. It looked weird and I knew it was also dangerous. The original surgery made my cleavage too far apart and I'd gone only a little bit bigger than my natural A cup size. So when I got the implant exchange, I went to silicone and all the way to a size 34D. I was afraid of being one of those women with big fake-looking breasts, but I look really decent and professional for work in a shirt, and then still look amazing in a tank or swim suit. Dr. von Maur also fixed my cleavage so it comes together instead of far apart.

I'd been wanting to get rid of acne scars, and at 44, suddenly many little lines on my face. So I went to CosmetiCare to get it done through microneedling, the "vampire facial." It wasn't a walk in the park, but it wasn't awful. Most of the work was on my nose, and it was raw for a bit after the procedure, but I recovered fairly quickly. The results were amazing. My skin is tighter with the collagen regeneration, the acne is cleared up, and many of the wrinkle lines are gone. It's an incredible feeling. I'm excited to go back for more procedures.

Before I had the abdominoplasty and breast augmentation from Dr. von Maur, I kept trying to lose weight, but even exercise and power walking didn't do anything, and I gained weight. When I woke up from the surgery, I was so happy with the way I looked that I cried. The experience afterwards was also a surprise. Previously I'd had a couple non-elective surgeries that were very painful and left me feeling wrecked. This time it was totally different. I didn't have any bruising from the procedures. Today, my clothing fits better, I'm more confident. The surgery encouraged me so much that I've even lost 15 to 20 pounds more pounds.
