5 out of 5 stars Eyelid Surgery

Outstanding Oculoplastic Surgeon and Ophthalmologist

Rob performed a blepharoplasty on both of my eyes to restore deteriorated upper half plane vision in each one. The results have markedly improved my peripheral vision and the healing process was relatively quick and effortless due to effective pre-operative preparation and post-operative followthrough by him. Rob is an exceptionally thorough, efficient and detail oriented surgeon. As a...

Very good Doctor I highly recommend.

I had a very positive experience. He was diligent, competent, and respectful of my needs. he is very professional with an excellent patient interface. I had an eyelid lift on both eyes and I'm very satisfied.

Curious About Botox but Afraid to Try - Monterey, CA

Dr. Bernardino was very helpful. He explained everything clearly, putting me at ease. He wasn't pushy either selling the procedure to me. As he explained the injections were less painful than the flu shots or anesthesia I had gotten in the past. I was pleased at my natural relaxed appearance as he suggested the areas it would be most effective in.

I had a great experience

I had a great experience. Very professional, responsive to all my questions and concerns. I was nervous about the procedure, Dr Bernardino was reassuring and helped me feel at ease. I had upper eyelid surgery. My results were great, his technique made my lids look natural and not over corrected. Very satisfied.

Poor experience

He didn't get it done correctly the first time so had to go back for a re-do. No anesthesiologist this time. I suspect since he was having to pay for the re-do instead of Medicare, he didn't want to pay for one. Consequently the procedure was uncomfortable.

Dr Carlo Rob Bernardino - Monterey, CA

I have consulted with doctor bernadino 3 times in reference to revisional surgery to correct a blepharoplasty performed by a cosmetic surgeon in guadalajara. Although Dr Bernadino suggested it would be difficult to repair my upper eyelids to the heighth of normal asian anatomy at this time, that it would be best to repair the obviously deformed lower lids. Every day when i look at my...

Bad Experience

Horrible experience for me. In a lot of pain after surgery on both eyes, and nothing from the doctor. Borderline if not patient neglect. Also unkind and lack of both skills and bedside manner. Looks horrible after multiple repeat surgeries. Don't give him a second chance. Go somewhere else.

I had a terrible experience

He spends little time with you and does not take time to answer your questions. I felt as if I was not important as he ran from room to room to see his other patients. He spent less than 2 minutes with me for each visit. Prior to surgery it is the same thing, when I had a concern he discounted me and his anesthesiologist did the same thing. He was very rude to myself and my family.

5 out of 5 stars Eyelid Surgery

My experience at the Vantage Eye Center could not have been better.

Dr. Bernardino performed a standard Blepharoplasty on both eyes with excellent results. The upper lid margin was raised appropriately for my age and the arches on both eyes were both balanced and attractive. His professionalism and bedside manner was exemplary; everything was explained and all questions answered. I felt both safe and secure in his care.
