Dr. MacDougall has wonderful bedside manner, incredible set of ethics that are few and far between these days, thorough, not looking to sell you something you don't need. After seeing 6-7 other doctors and dermatologists, Dr. MacDougall found I had a severe case of Folliculitis that he diagnosed in seconds. I spent a year in tears trying to figure out what this was to no avail, UNTIL I saw Dr. MacDougall. He is to this day the ONLY dermatologist I will ever go to. He recently did a biopsy on my leg as I had an unusual growth, which turned out to be Granuloma Annulare. He specifically sent the biopsy sample for 2 sets of tests, just to make sure what it was. I also went to him for a consultation regarding possible under eye surgery, to which he indicated I did not need and gave me a prescription for Tazorac. It has worked wonders on all the fine lines on my face and eyes. Wish more doctors were as thorough, had his bedside manner, and were as selfless as he is. I find many MD's and surgeons out to make a buck; this is NOT who Dr. MacDougall is. After your first visit, you will see that he is there for you the patient, his one and only priority. He is a God send to me!!! His staff is also well versed in patient care, after care, general bedside manner and overall warm and friendly ladies. I enjoy my visits. General dermatological issues, including Folliculitis, prescription for Retin-A (Tazorac) and Biopsy. Will be seeing him in the fall for a Glycolic Peel, and consultation regarding his thoughts on Co2 Laser procedure for under eye and eyelid resurfacing. I would consult with him before seeing anyone else. My insurance has covered all my procedures/visits/appointments. I have PPO Ins.
