Dr. John Tang is a double board-certified physician practicing in Saratoga, California. His background in cosmetics, anti-aging, weight loss, and internal medicine has given him a unique understanding of how these three realms are interconnected. Dr. Tang specializes in non-invasive, non surgical aesthetic treatments, weight loss, wellness, and Anti-Aging medicine.

Dr. Tang specializes in noninvasive aesthetic treatments, including injectables like Botox, Dysport, and Kybella as well as dermal fillers like Juvéderm, Radiesse, Restylane, and Sculptra. His expertise in these injectables have earned him recognition as Presidential and Platinum Level injector for Botox/Juvederm and Dysport/Restylane/Sculptra respectively, and a Top 100 National Restylane injector. Dr. Tang also specializes in lasers and RF energy devices like IPL, Fraxel, Ulthera, Fractora, Skinfinity, Smartxide (CO2 Laser), Venus Freeze for skin rejuvenation, skin tightening, acne scar removal, wrinkle reduction, stretch mark treatments, laser hair removal, and tattoo removal.

Dr. Tang graduated Magna Cumme Laude from UC Irvine with a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences and a minor in Psychology. He then earned his medical degree from Tufts University Medical School, where he received the Alumni Scholarship Award. He then went on to complete a 3-year internal medicine residency at the Kaiser Hospital and his Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at Stanford University in 2004.

In pursuing more knowledge about the effects of aging, he completed a fellowship in Anti-Aging Medicine from the American Board of Anti-Aging and became board certified in Anti-Aging, Regenerative, and Metabolic Medicine in 2017.

Following his trek in studying how to optimize longevity, both internally and externally, he also completed a fellowship offered by the Seeds Scientific Research and Performance group in 2021.

Dr. Tang was named one of “America’s Top Physicians 2012” by Consumers’ Research Council of America, Global Register’s Who’s Who in 2006, and San Jose Magazine’s Top Doc in 2008. He has been cited as an expert source in news media and publications such NBC Bay Area news, the San Jose Mercury, Online Suite Magazine, and the Contra Costa Times.
