Ahmed Maki, DO, FACS

I'm in my late 30s and was starting to feel self conscious about the loss of volume in my face. Some of my skin was just starting to sag around my mouth and in my pre-jowl area and I came to Dr. Maki to address the issue before it became something that required surgery or more invasive and expensive treatment. When I walked in all I knew were my concerns, but I had no idea what could be done to correct them. He immediately looked over my face and made simple suggestions and emphasized a "less is more" approach which I appreciated as it was my first time having a cosmetic treatment done. In the end we decided on Voluma and I am already seeing noticeable results. The procedure was simple and I feel that it has taken years off my appearance. Overall great experience and definitely worth it in my opinion.

I chose Dr. Maki for my surgeries, liposuction and abdominoplastly, after much research. I had a child at 43 and tried to get my body back for three years with no luck. I have to thank Dr. Maki and his entire staff for being so supportive every step of the way. I scheduled consultations with other plastic surgeons and felt rushed, which is not what you want for something as major as a surgery for christs sake! I am now six weeks post op and the results are AMAZING! I look forward to seeing the final final results once the swelling is completely gone. I highly recommend Dr. Maki as a plastic surgeon, whether you are local to Los Angeles or need to travel, he's worth the trip. He was always responsive, before and after my surgery, had great bedside manner, and was easy very easy to talk to. He listened to my concerns, made suggestions on how my body could be enhanced more, and even did those things to give me the look I desired. Dr. Maki is the BEST!!!!

I had my abdominoplasty almost 2 years ago with Dr. Maki, and am still in awe of my results and of his professionalism. I was a bit of a unique case in that I was already taking medication that reduces the effectiveness of pain meds, but Dr. Maki was able to figure out how to keep me from feeling pain by injecting me with exparel rather than what they normally used. I didn't feel a thing for 3 days after surgery and even once the medication wore off recovery was much easier than I expected. My scar is not visible when clothed. Additionally, my abdominal muscles were completely destroyed after having four big healthy babies with polyhydramnios. Maki was able to pull me in 11 inches!! I'm so grateful that I found him and that I decided to go through with the surgery, highly recommend him if you're looking for a doctor in LA as he was able to keep me feeling calm and comfortable throughout the entire process, and gave me incredible results.

What fantastic results I've had! Dr. Maki is a complete professional, and always thorough. I've been getting injectables done with him for about 2 years now and couldn't be happier. I was a pharma rep for years and know hundreds of doctors. He's at the top of the list!

Dr. Maki is absolutely amazing. He is supportive, smart, and keeps the dialogue open. I'm impressed with his expertise and knowledge in his field. I should also mention, he is just so nice! When making decisions about elected surgery, it's up to you to say yes or no. I would say YES to him every time.

I couldn't be happier with my experience with Dr Maki. His staff when I first came to the office was so welcoming. I sorta stumbled upon Dr Maki because a friend of mine had had surgery with him and loved his results. I have always been self conscious about my nose and always felt that if I could just get rid of my hump I would be able to be more confident with myself. Little did I know that Dr Maki would significantly also improve my breathing. I never knew I could breathe the way I do now. I honestly feel very fortunate to have found them and am so happy with my results. I highly recommend visiting with him because I went to several consultations including some big names in Beverly Hills, and I never felt as comfortable with anyone else as I did with Dr Maki.

I am so happy with my results. I had a silicone breast augmentation with 350 cc Natrelle silicone implants. After I had my kids, I had sad boobs, and I always wanted more fullness and more cleavage. Dr Maki went over all options with me and we chose the silicone implants. I am now 6 weeks post op and couldn't be happier with my results and also my experience with him.

I was referred to Dr Maki by a friend who also had her rhinoplasty done and was so happy with her results. I was so surprised at how young he was but also how professional he and his staff was. Amazing. Loved my results. I am a regular patient that uses Botox at a different clinic but was turned onto Dr Maki from a friend and his great reviews and I couldn't be happier with my choice. We actually used Dysport instead of my usual Botox and I have noticed a much quicker response and also less pain. Very happy with Dr Maki and also his team

I've had several IPL (Intense Pulsed Light Laser Therapy) sessions with Dr. Maki at the Los Angeles Center for Cosmetic Surgery and couldn't be happier. He is the utmost professional, and yet very approachable. He thoroughly explains the procedure and what to expect as he is treating me. He also gives a detailed explanation of what to do afterwards during recovery. I'm already seeing great results and am looking forward to continuing the treatments with him.
