70 + Breast Reconstruction After Radiation - Long Beach, CA

Dr. Hurvitz is an amazing doctor with great bed side manner. I was never confused or nervous with Dr. Hurvitz. He made sure each detail was taken care of and each step was checked off. Very through. A very trustworthy doctor.

65 Year Old Skin Cancer Basil Cell Carcinoma Tumor -Scalp - Long Beach, CA

I had to have a skin cancer tumor removed from the side of my head just above my right ear. I was scared. I envisioned a huge scar and a shaved head. When I first met Dr. Hurvitz I was impressed. He answered all my questions without hesitation. He was warm and gave the impression of genuine caring. He spent a lot of time with me. He made me feel comfortable. The operation was done by another surgeon. Dr, Hurvitz's job was to close up the incision using a skin graft from the back of my head. The only problem was, the surgery would take place on a Friday. The closing of the wound would not take place until the following Tuesday. I voiced my concerns to Dr. Hurvitz. That night I got a call from his office stating the closure would take place the same day as the surgery. He gave up his Friday afternoon for me. I was elated. I have never known a doctor to give up his day off for any patient. The surgery went well. Dr. Hurvitz did not have to do a skin graft. He was able to close the incision with a flap procedure. Kudos to you, Dr. Hurvitz. You are my hero. His staff is excellent. They return calls. They go out of their way to provide excellent service. I would trust Dr. Hurvitz with my life. The wound is healing well. There were no complications, very little pain. I went home so thankful for Dr. Hurvitz.
