I love my new smile. My mother referred me to Dr. Asaf for porcelain veneers. She had hers put in over 10 years ago, and they still look like day 1. I considered getting them done by my dentist in West Hollywood, but he's pretty fresh out of school... (or he looks like it anyway:) I do fitness fitness modelling and competitions and even though my teeth were pretty nice to begin with, I wanted them perfect - and really REALLY white. I had braces in the past and do teeth whitening every few months, so I'm definitely glad I won't have to keep up with my whitening routine. I was told veneers do not stain or fade. Thats just what I wanted. The shape was not what i wanted at first, but the doc told me to trust his judgement and I'm glad I did. I showed him some photos of models with teeth I liked, but he told me based on my facial structure, I should go with something more natural and not so big and bulky. I really love the shape and no one can tell I got them done unless I tell them. Regarding the color - this is where I went against the docs recoomendations. He wanted a slightly more natural color, but I insisted on the whitest shade possible since I really love that white look that lights up a room. In the end I compromised a little, allowing him to put a touch of color on the teeth but not much -they are pretty darn white.
Really happy with the whole process and I would consider going to Dr. Asaf for all my dental needs, if it were not for the fact he's in the valley. He was able to see me on a couple sundays as well, which was cool (no traffic :) Price and quality were great and I highly highly recomend them. Beautiful office and staff were fine.
