I was not even referred to dr applebaum and I only hired him because he was the surgeon in the office where my injector worked. Looking back, it was honestly a little reckless that I even hired Applebaum. I run a business and am extremely busy and just didn’t have/make time to consult with 5+ facial plastic surgeons the way one probably should before undergoing surgery to the FACE! And unlike other plastic surgeons I had been eye’ing on social media, Applebaum lacks social media presence and his book of online before-and-after photos is thin. So that said, I am extremely lucky (and grateful) that I got Applebaum. First, his communication is exceptional. Very calm, confident, patient and genuine. He performed a mini facelift and lower blepharoplasty and gave me cheek implants as well. I also asked him to really snatch my jawline. I wasn’t sure at first about some of the recommended procedures because I only recently just turned 35 years old, but after looking at my issues and learning about what was causing the jowling, and sagging under the chin, and the bulging under the eyes, I realized all of it was indeed necessary despite my young age. As I write this post I am just 13 days post-op. My eye bags are gone. Like a miracle - gone. And the little turkey gobbler thing under my chin seems to be gone (that said, I’m still quite swollen). I dont know much about stitches but I can literally hardly find my stitches and the stitch work seems to be super seamless, discreet and not discolored at all. I also barely bruised. Can’t tell if I like the cheek implants yet, due to the ongoing swelling, but I can tell you I photograph WAY better now than I had. I look like my old self in photographs again which is so cool. So far, positive experience. Can’t wait to see how it all turns out but in the meantime I feel like my lucky ass stumbled upon a hidden gem of a surgeon.

The women in my family all end with huge, flap in the wind, batwing arms and I am no exception. My kids have teasing me for years about my fatty underarms. I've always known I would do something about it once it was bad enough. I've spoken to a few Plastic Surgeons about it over the years but wasn't convinced they could do much for me. At 47 I was really feeling it was about time to address my arms and started looking for a PS for an arm lift. None of the surgeons I consulted with felt it was bad enough to warrant the huge scar it would leave on my arm and advised me to wait until it became worse. Then I found a RealSelf review of a girl who had AMAZING results with similar arms to mine. She had liposuction with Bodytite performed by Dr. Applebaum in Beverly Hills, CA. I was amazed at how much better and slimmer her arms looked! And she didn't have loose skin hanging either. I had consulted with a PS many years ago in Phoenix who had told me that he could only take 1/4" off my arms with lipo. I didn't think that was worth it so I never did it and didn't know such great results could even be achieved with arm lipo. I contacted Dr. Applebaum for a consultation and was very pleased how easy it was to make an appointment, clean and professional run his office was, easy parking, and that My appointment was on time (unlike some other surgeons where I have to wait 2 hours after my appointment time to be seen, with 30 other people in the waiting room and then they hardly spend any time with me. Dr. Applebaum was very honest and did not over promise anything. Including that he didn't think I would have as good a result as the other girl because she was much younger than me. At first I thought he was saying it wouldn't be worth it and I wasn't far gone enough to warrant a full arm lift yet, but then he assured me that he could get rid of the hang and it would be a subtle improvement and that he would have his patient co-ordinator Nicole quote the procedure. The price was reasonable in my opinion and after a week of thinking about it I scheduled the surgery. Nicole and Dr. Applebaum were very accommodating and helped me get a surgery date that was in the near future and worked perfectly with my husband and I's schedule. The day of surgery Dr. Applebaum, his Anesthesiologist, and Nurse were all amazing and so wonderful. Dr. Applebaum has a surgery center attached to his office so it is very private , easy, and discreet. I can't speak highly enough of Dr. Applebaum and his team. I am super impressed with him and I highly recommend him as a Plastic Surgeon. I've had some previous plastic surgery in the past 1.5 years and really wish I knew about Dr. Applebaum then as he would have been my top choice for everything and my first consultation. I hope my review and pictures help you if you are in the same situation as me and trying to find a solution for your fat flap in the wind triceps. The other girl's review was so helpful for me when searching for a great surgeon to fix me up and I probably never would have found Dr. Applebaum without it. Recovery was super easy. Nicole had told me to expect to be really sore. Honestly it hardly hurt at all and there was almost no bruising. Another testament to how amazing this surgeon is! Dr. Applebaum's communications with me were exceptional. He would FaceTime with me, even on the weekends and at night, to make sure everything was going well, teach my husband how to wrap my arms, and address any questions I had. He didn't want me to have to make the 3 hour drive back and forth to his office and was super accommodating. Honestly I have never met such an outstanding surgeon! He removed 250 cc of fat from my left arm and 200 cc from my right. When I heard that I felt like I had won the liposuction lottery! I had no idea that he would be able to take out that much as my previous surgery with another PS only took out 200 cc with flank and inner thigh lipo ,which imho was not near enough. I'll probably return to Dr. Applebaum in a few years and have him Lipo and Bodytite my whole thighs, knees, and hips (and maybe put the fat in my breasts). He's that good! I’ve always had excess skin and fat on my arms. Especially for my size. 5’1” 113 lbs. I finally decided to have surgery when I heard about bodytite. I threw some inner lipo in there as well to get rid of the bulge at the top of my thigh. Updated on 12 Jun 2019: June 10th. Getting liposuction and bodytite of the arms. Since I haven’t been able to work out untill now I feel a little soft. I can’t wait to tone up with my new arms and inner thighs! Dr. Applebaum and his staff provided the most wonderful care and support in every way for my breast reduction. This surgery has meant so much to me emotionally and physically. Dr. Applebaum truly understands the concerns of the patient and delivers the most beautiful results while supporting the patient before, during, and post surgery. I truly cannot express my gratitude and joy with the results and experience.

I love this doctor. He is an artist with the skill and vision to back it up. From the front office to Dr. Applebaum, this office is by far the best experience I have ever had. I actually put a deposit elsewhere in the beginning and after meeting Dr. A, canceled and went with him. He changed my life by giving me back my self confidence and a beautiful face. No one even knew that I had work done. I took a month off and they all thought I have dropped 10 pounds, had some rest and somehow, magically looked 15 years younger. It is my greatest compliment that I have sent him my sister and two of my best friends in the world. They are thrilled too so if you are thinking about this, do it. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

What can I say about Dr. Applebaum? He’s is a brilliant and ethical surgeon who has changed my life. So, after relentlessly working out and lifting weights for a few years I finally decided that my post-pregnancy stomach was NEVER going to go down or look attractive. I did my best with diet and exercise and realized diet and exercise alone was not going to give me the flat stomach I once had before my three children were born. Dr. Applebaum was kind and professional and made me feel comfortable from the first moment I met him at my consultation appointment. He explained to me the reason I was not seeing results with diet and exercise alone is because I needed a diastasis repair(tightening of the abdominal wall). I decided to move forward with a full tummy tuck with liposuction of the waist area (flanks) and I couldn't be happier with my results. I now have a tight flat stomach! Dr. Applebaum is the best! I’ve referred several friends to him and they also are very happy with their results! His staff is amazing and are there for you every step of your journey! This is the only surgeon I will ever go to. I highly recommend Dr. Applebaum.

Both Dr. Applebaum and his incredible staff were outstanding. The practice is organized, compassionate, thorough, and so outstanding in how everything was implemented-from the getting to my doctor, to the necessary insurance and personal paperwork, to the procedure itself. Dr. Applebaum is a top notch physician, who cares for his patients and those patient’s surgical outcomes. I had some non-cancerous lipomas removed and withnin a few months there was zero evidence of scarring. I just can’t say enough about my experience there! I decided to invest in myself and had the Liftique Naturelle procedure done. It uses RFAL and fractora treatments to tighten the face and neck area. They are both FDA approved. I couldn't be happier with my results and the care I received during the process. The doctor and his staff took great care of me before, during and after the procedure. In the last few weeks, I have had two different friends approach who I haven't seen in a couple of months and ask, "Wow, our skin looks great! You are aging well." These unsolicated comments from people I know and trust reconfirm that I made the right decision. I would highly recommend it.

Dr. Applebaum is a very skilled surgeon and delivered great results. In our consultation for a breast reduction he was very thorough and explained the details of the procedure and gave me an accurate idea of the pain level and recovery time. I was very impressed with the outcome, as I had manageable pain for two days only, had very minor scars, and never saw anything unsightly. I healed very quickly without complications, which I attribute to the meticulous care I received. The procedure went very well and I knew from Dr. Applebaum's caring manner that I was in safe hands. Also, I was impressed by his confidence in his skills at the consultation, and he truly delivered what I wanted. I feel that I have a great new size and shape, and the lift is amazing, as I can go braless for the first time in many years, which is great at 44. The follow up care was great, with Dr. Applebaum even coming in to see me on a holiday, three days after my surgery. Immediately after, I felt lighter and my neck and shoulder pain that was constant, has now disappeared. My energy level and mood are really improved, in addition to my appearance after this surgery, so I would highly recommend Dr. Applebaum to anyone considering this surgery. I could not have asked for a better experience. Everyone on his team is great, especially Dr. Applebaum, who is very kind and most importantly, very talented.
