Dr. Natalie Attenello is a very high skilled surgeon with natural procedure out come. I am one week post op, and you can’t tell if I had anything done. I highly recommend her! She is very nurturing and caring and answer all my questions. I was not nervous at all the day of the surgery, I was very excited more than anything. I had a gut feeling that this was going be good, and it was. If anyone look to get a forehead reduction I highly recommend Dr.Attenello!

I'm not one to write reviews. However, Dr. Attenello is beyond extraordinary and these reviews helped me find Dr. Attenello as well as calm my nerves prior to my procedure. When I was looking for a surgeon to do my lowerface and necklift, I wanted someone whose aesthetic was very natural as I wasn't looking to change any features, I just wanted a more youthful appearance. I had been looking at photos on Real Self for years, yes years, and Dr. Attenello's were by far the best. Her reviews were all stellar and when I went into my consultation with her I immediately knew she was the surgeon for me. She's got such a warm, calm demeanor and listened intently to my concerns as well as desired outcome. Her office staff are also very kind, caring and love working with Dr. Attenello. She's honest about what she can do and I never felt pushed to do anything I didn't want to do. I decided to also get an earlobe reduction because my ears were ripped in the 80's due to those crazy earrings and by the '90s I could only wear gaged hoops. Dr. Attenello is also just brilliant, kind and has such attention to detail and understands that changes in just millimeters on a person's face, can make a huge difference. Every step of the way I was reassured that I was in the right hands. When I went in for pre-op tests, the Dr (GP) asked me how I found Dr. Attenello. I said just online research. She said, "You chose your surgeon wisely. People fly in from all over the world to see her because she's the best." The day of the surgery I met the nurses. They were all wonderful and love working with Dr. Attenello. That was another good sign and put me right at ease. Dr. Attenello requires that her patients spend the first night at a medical recovery retreat with 24 hr one to one care. It was so smart. The nurses were great and I definitely needed the added assistance after the surgery - something my husband wouldn't be able to manage. For follow-ups - I saw Dr. Attenello the day after surgery, 2 days later, then 3 days after that. Then I moved to a week, then another week, and now I'm not scheduled for a month. I can call or email anytime and she gets back quickly. The entire process was fantastic from beginning to end. I highly highly recommend Dr. Attenello. You will be in the hands of a true genius.

I am a 60-year old woman who has wanted to address my hooded and drooping eyelids since my early 50's. I began in earnest researching plastic surgeons and a good friend recommended Dr. Attenello after being so pleased with the Face lift that Dr. Attenello performed on her. Long story short, Dr. Attenello did everything she promised in terms of my eyebrows and eyelid surgery. She is informative, communicative, down-to-earth and kind. She aspires for a 'natural' look (i.e. not pulled or distorted) and she delivered exactly what she promised without complications and with easy healing. I am so happy I did this procedure, and that I chose her. I could not recommend her more highly.

Since the moment I got in contact with Dr. Attenello office everyone was so nice and accommodating. My first consultation went great (did it via FaceTime). Dr. Attenello answered all my questions and was very easy to talk to. I booked right after my consultation and knew she was the perfect surgeon for me. Day before surgery: Husband and I drove to LA from Phoenix and we met with Dr. Attenello for the pre-op appt. She was just as great in person and was very warm and comforting (nerves were starting to set in). We went over what was to be expected for the day of surgery as well as drawing lines to pick a rough estimate of where I wanted to lower my hairline to. I relaxed the rest of the day by going to the beach and getting sushi then going back to hotel and watching a movie. Day of Surgery: I woke up bright and early and had my husband drive me to the surgery center. Everything was surprisingly easy to find. The ladies at the front desk were very nice and welcoming. I waited a little bit and then the nurse called me back, this is where is took a pregnancy test and got dressed in my hospital gown. Dr. Attenello came in and gave me a warm welcome and asked how I was doing. We talked a little and she started drawing the surgery markings on my forehead. She picked the perfect placement that was proportionate with my face and I didn't even have to question or change anything and normally I'm very picky ESPECIALLY because it's a permanent decision on my face. After she was done the anesthesiologist came in and eased some of my nerves on going under. He was very nice and smiled a lot, which made me feel more comfortable. Soon after I said goodbye to my hubby and I walked back to the operating room. I laid on the table and they put a pillow under my knees and I got a blanket. They put my finger in the heart rate thingy so they could keep track of that and then Dr. Attenello came in. The anesthesiologist told me I was going to breathe in some oxygen and then would turn on the anesthetic. So they handed me the oxygen mask and I started breathing (I was so scared at this point lol) then after a couple breaths the anesthesiologist told me it was going to start to stink and I knew that meant I was about to go out. I started freaking out and saying how weird I felt to Dr. Attenello who was RIGHT by my side. She was so calming and as I was about to go under she rubbed my arm to ease my anxiety and was telling me "its going to be ok, you're ok". Before I knew it I was out and waking up in the recover room. I felt really sleepy upon waking. luckily I wasn't loopy, just dizzy. I came to pretty quickly which was the nice. I had a nurse by my side the whole time. She was so friendly and we talked about a bunch of random stuff haha. I was in recovery room for about an hour then my husband came to get me. Since I was out of state I didn't have a place to get prescriptions, one of the nurses drove and got them for me. so nice of them! Night of surgery: I started to feel pressure and pain like an hour after leaving the surgery center, so I ate something and took one prescribed pain med. That was all I needed for the whole night besides Tylenol. I surprisingly slept pretty good for just having surgery and being elevated. Day 1: I went back to Dr. Attenellos office and got my bandage/head wrap removed. It was a relief to get the head wrap off because it was pretty compressed under there. She showed me in the mirror and I loved it!! I was still a bit out of it so I couldn't show as much expression as I wanted to though. It felt SO weird that the top of my head was completely numb. My incision looked very clean and way better than I would have expected. Upon leaving on my 6 hour trip back to Phoenix, my head had really started to swell more from the compression wrap being off. I slept pretty good the second night but still a bit in pain. not enough to take Tylenol though. Days 2-6: I basically just was swollen and in mild pain that would come and go at random times. I iced a bit but not as much as I should have. I thought for sure I would bruise but I surprisingly didn't get a single bruise and I didn't even take arnica. I will say that I would look in the mirror and was kind of bummed because I felt like my forehead still looked big, I didn't realize that since my head was swollen that it made it look bigger than it really was going to be. Day 7-13 : I got my stitches out on day 7 and after that it has only healed even better than I could have imagined. I am currently on day 13 and you can barley see my incision line and it's not even red. I have had a little hair loss around the sides where the staples were but it's not noticeable because my hair covers it. Overall I got like 1.5cm off the from front and 2cm off the sides where my hair receded a little. I feel it was a very tasteful amount and was not too drastic to where it looked weird with my face shape. Overall I am very pleased. I look like a new woman baby!! Will update at the one month

Best decision I made! Dr Attenello is truly the most talented and amazing surgeon. I went to her for a forehead lowering procedure that I put off for probably a decade because I never felt comfortable with other surgeons that I consulted with. I booked my surgery on my first consultation with Dr Attenello. She is so confidant, knowledgeable and her work speaks for itself. She is genuinely so kind and compassionate, it really eased any nervousness I had about the procedure, especially the day of. Her office is beautiful and she has an awesome staff that always was so helpful with anything I needed. I’m so thrilled with my results; my only regret was not going to her sooner!!

Going to Dr. Attenello was the best decision I ever made regarding my body. As a 24 y.o female with a high hairline, I always felt insecure about my forehead since I was in middle school and did not ever think a hairline lowering procedure would ever be possible. When I was 19, I learned that this surgery is indeed possible but was too young and scared to even consider getting it done. As years gone by, I always hated how my forehead looked in photos or when I was in a pool so reconsidered the surgery again. I researched a few doctors and had my first consultation on 01/09/23 with Dr. Attenello and knew she was the one for me because of her professionalism and her understanding. I decided to pull the trigger and put down a deposit for the surgery and scheduled it for 02/14/2023 (yesterday). I did have to do some lab work before the surgery but that was easy I just went to my local quest diagnostic. The day of the the surgery, I was SO nervous and couldn't believe what I was going to do to myself as this surgery is a bit unknown and harder to explain than a mere nose job for example. The staff at the surgery center were all so kind and made the process so easy. I met with Dr. A and she drew the marking for how low she will try bring my hairline. She assured me everything will be ok and I will be going into the operating room. Once I layed down in the operating room I felt such anxiety and Dr. A came and rubbed my head and that calmed me down right away. Next thing I knew, I woke up groggy with no head pain and the staff waited with me until my mother came to pick me up. The first day is the WORST. Lots of pressure in the head once the pain meds wear off and the head wrap was so uncomfortable and I was counting down the hours until I can get it off. Def 10/10 pain for me for the first few hours but it does simmer down in the night maybe like 2 am for me? The next morning which is today (02/15) I went to Dr. A office and the head wrap was removed and she gave me some post op instructions and advised next Monday I can get my stitches out! No pain as of today but I am not comfortable yet to step out as I feel lethargic. I'll update this review when my stitches come out! Updated on 18 Feb 2023: Forgot to add some photos to my review. There’s a photo of my hairline before you can see how it slopes up which I never liked. I’m currently 5 days post Op and getting my stitches out on Monday which will be so exciting! The first day was really difficult but got easier once the head wrap was out. Right now I have no pain and have not experienced any hair loss. Updated on 27 Mar 2023: Wow, I have no regrets getting this done as I am totally in love with my results! I’m well over a month post op and have baby hairs growing through my scar just like Dr. Attenello had said would happen. The top of my head is still quite numb and just feels very hard on top but that should go down soon. So happy about the surgery and if anyone has questions feel free to message me!

I am a week post op from my forehead reduction surgery and I couldn’t be any more happier. My entire experience was amazing from start to finish. Every one at Dr. Attenello office was very nice and had quick responses to anything I needed/questions I had. Dr. Attenello was wonderful on every level possible. She was very caring, kind, and knowledgeable. She made sure I was informed on how low she could possibly lower my hairline and post op instructions for caring for my scar afterwards. If you are wondering if you should go to her for this surgery do not look any further. I would highly recommend her. Recovery went well there was little pain the first day of surgery and no pain after the first day. Thank you so much Dr. Attenello you are the best I loveeee my new forehead !!!!

And speaking as a woman of “a certain age”…that is quite a statement! There is no one better than her to provide expert advice and cutting edge techniques for those looking to put their best selves forward in this very competitive world. Her support staff is extremely knowledgeable and an absolute ray of sunshine always greeting patients with a smile and helping hand. I would never dream of going anywhere else!

I had a great experience with Dr. Attenello. The recovery was pretty easy and the results are very natural looking. I would recommend this procedure to anyone who is insecure about their forehead/hairline.
