3 Q&A

Q: Is it too much to have truSculpt done on my arms, back, and stomach at one time?
Answered by Naomi WaakNovember 20, 2018

A: It is suggested not to overwhelm the body with multiple treatments at once. Depending on how large the treatment areas are, it would be recommended to give at least 2 weeks between receiving TruSculpt 3D procedures.

Q: What if you don’t see results 12 weeks after receiving Trusculpt?
Answered by Naomi WaakNovember 20, 2018

A: There could be many answers as to why results were not seen.

Maintaining a healthy diet and regular exercise can help emphasize the results of TruSculpt 3D making them more prominent. TruSculpt 3D does shrink the fat in the selected treatment area but may not be noticeable if diet and exercise aren't consistent.

Also it depends on the temperature reached during the treatment. It could be that the optimal temperature wasn't reached and therefore didn't penetrate the fat layer deep enough.

At our practice, we offer our clients a full body scan that measures the amount of fat everywhere on the body. This allows for us and our client to see the difference 12 weeks after treatment. Pictures are also taken before, at 6 weeks, and at 12 weeks. This helpfully demonstrates the physical external changes the body has gone through in the 12 week process.

At the 12 week mark, if not enough difference is achieved; we perform a second treatment to target the stubborn fat area.

Q: What treatment should I go for for overall improvement? Botox or Fillers?
Answered by Naomi WaakSeptember 27, 2018

A: I think at your age it sounds a little excessive, but I would need to do a true in person evaluation.  I am a cautious injector and agree with the "Go slow" approach.  I recommend that you get your treatment in stages.  Start out with Botox, or fillers your first treatment, not both.  You could have the clinician use .5ml of Voluma on each cheek and see how it looks.  Then, you cold always add to it as you like.  I also always suggest doing the top of the face and working down.  It is possible after lifting you cheeks, you will not need filler around you mouth or chin are.
