Had hand surgery very recently by Stephen...from the time of my first consultation he made me feel calm..he explained my procedure very well..on day of surgery I felt relaxed and few days after my surgery he personally rang me to see how I was feeling and it was on the weekend so I don't know of any doctors that do this...amazing person and HIGHLY recommended Dr Stephen Salerno to anyone needing his amazing talents at what he does...Thank you so much...and he IS good at what he does as well

Dr Salerno and his team are AMAZING! I was instantly happy with my surgery and would recommend dr Salerno to everyone. While his price for this procedure was unnervingly cheap the job he did was anything but...!! He listened to all my concerns and put me at ease. He and his staff looked after me during and after my surgery never once making me feel unimportant.

He is brilliant surgeon; Dr Salerno explained in full the process and procedure for the surgery. He and his nurse were calm patient caring and walked me through the machinations. His skill is excellent and he is a gifted artist; because one also needs to understand the symmetry of the face, the eye, the brows and the distance between our features; of course and forehead. I love my eyes; I always have; i now have them back. Thank you so much Stephen, i recommend to everyone. Your philosophy in this area of medicine is actually pleasing and caring. After my twin pregnancy 3 years ago I had quite bad tummy muscle separation (9 finger gap post delivery) & a lot of excess skin from being so stretched. My twins were born at full term & weighed 3kg each & when I got pregnant was only 56kgs so I stretched A LOT & FAST. I have always been a fit & active person who takes pride in looking after myself but no matter how much I worked on trying to improve the muscle separation & the excess skin I just couldn't budge it (the excess skin). I made a point of loosing 16kg before the surgery so that I was in peak health & fitness before the procedure. I think its important to get as close to your optimum weight before doing this procedure for best results. I am only 2 weeks post op & am still swollen & bruised but today I feel the best since the operation. My only cons is that I am constantly worried about how it is healing, my tummy button isn't looking all that great (possibly infected) but I am sure once I have hit the 1 month mark it should start looking better. Having lost a lot of weight, I was left with a large flap of excess skin on my stomach. This became very uncomfortable with sweat rashes and sores during hot weather and depressing when looking for clothing. My GP recommended Mr Salerno and after the initial consultation when I asked lots of questions, I decided to follow through with the procedure. Three days in hospital and then home to rest for a few weeks. I had no major issues and Mr Salerno was available 24/7 to answer any queries or concerns.12 months on and I am still very happy with the results.

Hello I'm a 49 year old female that had a breast reduction in March 2013 I have suffered with large breasts since I was in my late teens They ended up being about a G size I was always suffering rashes under the breasts and terrible back and neck pain. Not to mention all the comments I have had to endure I had thought about a breast reduction for years and decided to find a good plastic surgeon I got a referral from my GP and was given Mr Stephan Salerno s. details. I went to see him and he explained everything in fine detail He told me to have a think about it and if I wanted to go ahead to make a appointment I didn't need to think about it he made me feel right at ease so I went ahead and I had the surgery I infant have got down to a C size I just asked him to try and get me as small as he could I remember waking up and feeling my chest wow they were small I infact could feel the instant relief from the weight of them and I could breath Without the weight of them laying on me and I could lay on my back which I could not do as they would make me breathless I was nt in to much pain just a little discomfort as he had my pain under control Really I was just so happy and relieved In think I was in hospital 3 days. After i went home a few days later I had a sore swelling in the right breast which was sore when I put my arm down that ended up being a Hematoma Blood clot I rang Mr Salerno and he checked it out straight away he did try and drain it but with no luck. So I went back to theatre and he cleaned it all out. Then I went home that night With antibiotics The next day I was in terrible pain I did get a infection and I rang Mr Salerno at 10 pm he was fantastic and told me to meet him at the hospital I stayed in about a week on I V antibiotics which worked really well . I had a few small problems but like with any surgery there are things that can happen I knew that as like I said all had been explained to me from the beginning I was never worried about anything because I new I was in very safe hands I am so glad I went ahead with the surgery because it has changed my life I am happier so much more comfortable it is the best thing I have ever done for myself and so glad I had such a fantastic professional caring plastic surgeon thank you Mr Salerno you are the best Wish I had done it years ago suecandlepines Updated on 25 Aug 2013: One week since review surgery from my Breast Reduction very happy once again , I have had the dog ears removed from sides and a bit of work on some scarring that was left from the infection I had all fixed up very happy with the result Thankyou once again for your fantastic care Mr Stephen Salerno Updated on 31 Aug 2013: Updated on 31 Aug 2013: Updated on 31 Aug 2013: Well I'm almost at the end of my journey the review surgery is done the dog ears removed and I'm feeling great still have a few pains here and there but the last of the stitches come out next week so that should make a difference I really have to say its been interesting along all the way with all different stages of recovery I'm so glad I took this journey cos it really has made the biggest changes in my life The last photo is one I would no way of ever had taken because of the size my breasts were but. I was 51 years old and had people telling me I was always looking tired. The surgery lifted my eyelids and my daughter said that it took 10 years off my age. Recovery was minimal and would definitely recommend it to others who have an issue with droopy eyelids. It is he best thing I've ever done and Dr Salerno was fantastic.
