Kim Taylor, FRACS

I got a BA at the age of 25, back in 2015. After looking through many forums and speaking with a variety of surgeons about my needs and wants, I settled on Dr Kim Taylor. She understood exactly where I was coming from, listening carefully to my concerns about my breast size (as they were out of proportion to my body). She talked me through the options with kindness and empathy and together we planned the surgery for September that year.

I'll never look back. I was so impressed with the complete package Kim Taylor provided - from the pre-care information, before and during the operation and the amazing after care. I felt at ease the whole time.
Since having my breast augmentation I have felt more comfortable and satisfied with my body, now having got what I always felt I was denied. Boobs!

The only tips I would give people considering this operation is - make the decision yourself. 100% your own body, mind and decision. Other people can support you in this, but you do it for you!

I am happy to provide photos, but this operation was a number of years ago now and my breasts have changed slightly since breastfeeding in 2020 and now I'm expected baby no. 2. I have been able to successfully breastfeed with implants (under the muscle).

I love my boobs! They are freaking amazing. Even after breastfeeding.

My experience with Dr Kim Taylor from the get go has been wonderful, she's very down to earth, lovely person. You can have a back and forth conversation and you can tell she really cares about listening to you & what you want & also giving her professional opinion. I had a lower body lift, muscle repair and breast lift done 7 weeks ago. On the day she made me feel very calm & relaxed, checking in on me frequently post op & my post op appointments have always been a nice experience with some great chit chat. When searching for someone to do my breast reduction my main aims were someone I felt I could trust, and their results. After speaking to others who had seen Dr. Kim Taylor, and looking at their pics, I narrowed my list to her.

From the moment I had my first consult I knew I had made the right decision. She listened to me, provided so much information, and answered any questions I had; I definitely felt like a person, not a number. 

On the day of my surgery she was in tune to how I was feeling, and made what was potentially a very stressful day, very smooth. I had abdomen scar revision surgery with her a month later, and again she made me feel safe and heard. Every post-op has been great, and I have since recommended others who have had the same experience as me.

I am so happy with my results. They are exactly what I wanted, and she achieved what I didn't think would be possible. She definitely has an exceptional eye for plastic surgery.

Dr. Taylor was understanding and informative throughout my entire journey with her.
We looked at what my goals were together and discussed realistic options, keeping my own body shape in mind and what will look good as I get older. Dr. Taylor made me feel comfortable and relaxed as she explained why certain options (ie implant type, shape and placement) were better than others and outlined the risks of the procedure.
I had my breast augmentation four weeks ago and my results are better than I imagined they would be. They look natural and I feel so confident and happy with how I look. I was a very small B and I think my final size will be a full C. My breasts look in proportion with my body and the sizing that Dr. Taylor helped me to decide on is exactly what I wanted to end up with.
I didn't have any consultations with other surgeons but Dr. Taylor was referred to me by somebody I knew and I had read amazing reviews online. As soon as I met her and she guided me through the process I knew that she was the surgeon I wanted to go with for my procedure.
I couldn't recommend Dr. Taylor highly enough.

I cannot praise Dr Kim Taylor enough. It’s been six weeks post operation (tummy tuck) and I’m walking dancing and off overseas! My case wasn’t an easy one at all, after having fat freezing done on my stomach I developed these massive bulges that looked like hernias. One surgeon told me he wouldn’t touch me and that I should lose weight and come back three months later. Kim you changed my life... I have a flat stomach now and I never dreamed of looking this flat ever. I’m told results will only get better and I can’t wait. Monica you are so polite every time you answer that phone even though I might have rung 50 times during the week. Ali you are so thorough and kind. I seriously have recommend you to so many people and would be happy to chat to anyone as I researched for so long and it was one of the hardest decisions to make, choosing the right surgeon.

I was reccomended to Kim by my original plastic surgeon who no longer consulted in Melbourne.
My whole experience from start to finish was more than I could have asked for.
I wanted my implants removed and a breast lift. Although nothing wrong with my original implants, I felt them too large for my frame and for various other reasons, I wanted them removed.
The girls in the RE. Admin were lovely and responded quickly. The building is beautiful and Kim made me feel instantly at ease. She listened to my concerns and answered any questions I had. The 3D imaging machine was great in assisting me to decide which procedure I would go ahead with.
The procedure day and after care where more than I could have asked for. All your consults and 2 scar treatment therapies were included along with your post op garment, tapes, ice packs, dressings, pre op drinks and more.
My results were better than I anticipated and I am beyond happy. I would recommend Kim and the RE. Team to anybody.

I had 3 babies in 3.5years all born via c-section. With fairly significant weight gain in all three pregnancies (and subsequent weight loss) coupled with the Caesarian surgeries I was left with a mess. I was embarrassed to be seen by my husband or in swimwear and I was lacking in confidence, I felt like my skin didn't fit me and I was a woman in her 30's with the body of an 80 year old.

I started researching surgeons and met with a couple of them, but it wasn't until roughly 2 years after I started looking into the procedures that I met with Kim Taylor from RE and I knew straight away that she would be the person to do the surgery and give me the best outcomes. This year I wanted to continue improving my physique and after a lot of hard work and determination, I competed in a bikini competition, something I could not have achieved had it not been for the surgery and Dr Taylor.

I consulted with a few surgeons about my tummy tuck, I had separated abdominal muscles and lose skin after two children, and was nervous about committing to having plastic surgery and undergoing a fairly major operation. I chose Kim because I immediately trusted her. She made me feel safe with her confidence and her beautiful manner and I just felt incredibly well looked after and in the very best hands with her. She doesn’t rush her patients in the consultations and I felt I was understood and listened to properly. She gave me a realistic explanation of what I could expect during and after the surgery. Her skill is outstanding and so is her resume. I didn’t care much about the bells and whistles I just wanted the very best surgeon and I found her! I am incredibly happy with my result. The scar is incredible. It looks so neat and clean. Even though I am still in recovery and my tummy is swollen I am truly amazed at how great this procedure turned out. I wasn’t expecting a result this good at all. I would recommend Kim to absolutely everyone!

Dr Taylor has made my journey through this procedure so easy. From my first visit she put me at ease, listened to my concerns and gave me realistic scenarios of what my outcome would be. Every member of staff I met along the way from RE. Reception , the hospital staff right got through to aftercare nurses were outstanding. I would not hesitate to recommend Kim and her team to anyone. I successfully went from a 16G to a 14C and could not be happier.

I have waited a long time to do this procedure. I researched several years ago and nearly went ahead with the surgery, however, changed my mind as I was somewhat nervous with the specialist I had chosen. Two years later after speaking to someone who had an Abdominoplasty by Dr Kim Taylor I took her advice and went to speak to Kim. As soon as I met Dr Kim Taylor I knew I was going to go ahead with the surgery. She was lovely, she explained everything so well, she is so personable and I immediately felt comfortable and calm. Within a couple of days I had decided I was going ahead with the procedure, and I'm so happy I did. My surgery journey was not that difficult nor that painful. I had two nights in hospital and within 4 days I was slowly walking up the street. Within 2 weeks I able to do most things. Not only was Dr Kim lovely so were her staff. Also a big shout out to Rachel, she made sure I understood the laser treatments plus made sure I was comfortable at all times. So many friends are impressed with my outcome and four who want to go and speak to Dr Kim about having some surgery. I am hoping to go back next year.. Best thing I have done for myself...
