There are options that represent the best aesthetic goal, and there are options that a patient's life circumstance allows for at the moment. While a tummy tuck is the best cosmetic option it sounds like you are realistic that limited support as well as possibly limited finances make you want to look at other options. Be sure to also discuss the circumferential liposuction with a limited loose skin excision anteriorly. While it's not a tummy tuck fixing the fascial and muscle structures underneath, it at least can address some of the laxity anteriorly and have a far easier recovery than a full tummy tuck. Not a perfect option, but it might accomplish some of your goals adequately at a lower cost and an easier recovery. Best wishes going forward.

If you sized in the office and discussed all alternatives then possibly this could work for you if you are ok with looking "augmented" rather than natural. If the base of your chest is truly only 9 cm on each side that implant may give you more "side breast" than you want. Depends on what you are going for. It does sound a bit large to me given the measurements.

Lots of variables in implant sizing, and be sure to go through the exercise at home with rice in a zip lock, and also with implants in the office so you can get a sense of how it looks. It's surprising how often someone may say they wish to be a full "C" or small "D", but when they self size they would clearly be a double "D" or at least a large "D". Cup size if different for each bra manufacturer. Relative to your small frame and thin appearing upper pole of the breast you may want to consider something more in the 350 range and below the muscle so there's less chance of seeing the upper transition of the implant. Look up the rice test for breast sizing on the internet to see how to do that at home. It's far from perfect, but it will help guide you in the decision.

Would an endoscopic abdominoplasty be a good option for me?

Your question is one that comes up on occasion with patients who don't have a great deal of skin laxity following pregnancy. What I have found to be the better option for most patients is an umbilical float procedure. This still allows for easy repair of the diastasis (not easily done via an endoscope...doable but awkward and takes longer), and some skin excision and tightening. The key with umbilical float procedures is you have to have an original belly button position that is on the high side so when it "floats down" a couple centimeters to be reconnected to the abdominal wall it won't look unusually low. It does have the advantage of no incision around the belly button for it's reattached on the inside. Umbilical float procedures make it easier to keep the incision low and shorter that regular tummy tucks. Because the procedure doesn't require special equipment, and is easier to perform than a pure endoscopic abdominoplasty it's not as pricey in most practices as the numbers you quoted. All of the above does require an experienced examiner to determine if this is an option that fits your body type, and you aesthetic desires. Good luck going forward.

Is a mini facelift a good option for me? (Photos)

Since we can pull our cheeks up easily with our fingers to make our folds look much better people think a face lift or mini-face lift will accomplish that result, but it won't. Yes your native anatomy makes your folds a bit more evident than some people your age; it would not be a logical step at this age, and a mini-face lift won't fix that problem for you leading to disappointment. Fillers to the cheeks and a bit to the folds would be beneficial, but are temporary. You might also consider precision facial fat grafting for the younger a patient is the more reliable fat grafting may hold up for the long term.

Your question is legitimate, and fair to ponder. Currently your left upper lateral lip is slightly fuller than the right side. That may be partly related to your native anatomy since we don't know what your pre-injection photos look like. It's not unreasonable to tailor your results with a touch more filler if that's the aesthetic you're striving for. It's fine for your surgeon to give insight as to what they think looks good to them, but they aren't living with the result, and your not asking for something crazy. You only might need a quarter or 1/2 of a syringe however, and your injector may be trying to help you not pay for a full syringe if they don't have another area to treat.

Be sure to get a couple consults from qualified surgeons in your area, and be open to discuss all aspects of your skin, anatomy, and personal concerns of what really bothers you. Discuss what skin care and noninvasive treatments like laser or IPL treatments offer versus chemical peels for skin tone and quality. Discuss your eye lids, lips, jaw line, as well as neck contour and laxity. Focus on your concerns so the surgeons are offering you the most logical options to address your issues, but be open to hear the full big picture. Good luck going forward.

Thank you for your question and photos. Certainly your midface asymmetry may have been present and uncovered by the buccal fat removal or possibly slight differences in how that procedure settled out may have led to your current appearance. Kybella is a perfectly fine product, but can be expensive and much less reliable than precise liposuction of the face and neck with syringe liposuction technique with fine cannulas and meticulous precision. This is commonly done with local anesthesia and mild oral sedation in an office setting and proves far more reliable then Kybella or other noninvasive results.

Will getting a facelift or any other surgery on my face make my Melasma flare up worse?

That's for your question on pigmentation risks with face lifting. Melasma is not just mediated by sun and inflammation, but estrogen also plays a role which is why many women notice it with pregnancy or after starting some birth control. Face lifting itself in my experience rarely kicks melasma into gear. Certainly there's no down side to being on hydroquinone and appropriate skin care for your skin type several weeks before your surgery as well as after and the risk should be even lower. Discuss with your surgeon your best skin care options prior to surgery.

What kind of lift do I need? Do I have to get a lift at all? (photos)

You need to do a couple in person consults, and be sure you have your current implant information. Your areolas are relatively small and a donut mastopexy will most likely end up with a substandard result. Much depends on how much larger you are willing to go as well as if you are willing to pay the extra expense of the options for "internal structural support". The internal bras can be done with slowly absorbable materials such as Galatea, human dermis, or porcine dermis as examples. Be sure to visit with plastic surgeons who have experience with internal support as well as standard breast lifts so you get solid information and guidance.

Wonderful experience - it’s been 3 months and I love my nose

I had an Open Rhinoplasty with Dr. Nelson June 2023. The experience was wonderful. He listened very closely to what I wanted and delivered even better result than I could have imagined. The procedure itself and recovery were almost completely painless, there was some discomfort, as expected but totally tolerable. I could breathe through your the entire recovery. I didn’t experience any bruising and had normal swelling. It’s been 3 months and I love my nose!

Plus size tummy tuck & back lipo - feel sexy for 1st time ever

Dr Nelson is amazing he listened, set reasonable expectations and so far I feel like the results have are 10 times better than he ever said he could do. The back lipo is still so swollen, well hell everything is so swollen. But I don’t hurt too bad. The Dermabond Tape he uses has kept the incisions from pulling. Can’t wait to see what it looks like in another three months as the swelling goes down. At this point I am just enjoying the ease of moving my body with less mass. Updated on 4 Jul 2022: Also forgot to mention that the staff was always quick to answer the phone and he called back very quickly the one time I needed to call after hours. So that was really awesome. Look at these hips! I mean they are a work of art! Updated on 26 Jul 2022: I can’t believe this body. I am still swollen and have already moved down two faja sizes. He got me in at the first signs of a complication and he got it under control so fast! At one month out my body feels great. Getting around is so much easier. Snatched my chin like a movie star

So this is my first time getting any lipo or filler. I got my double chin removed and my jaw line more defined. I had pain the first few days and that required pain meds and still need 1/2 a pill to sleep but during the day just some OTC had worked wonders. I took 2 days off work one for the Procedure and one after to rest but was back to working after that! So far it’s a lot of bruising and sore to touch but nothing like I thought! Dr Nelson and his staff were amazing. Felt safe, listened too and treated like royalty. Updated on 11 May 2022: This is one month out still very happy with my decision. I have to say I am still a little swollen but the results still wow everyone. There is no pain at all. I do have a few spots that are tender to the touch but other than that it is all been great. I also think I have been sleeping better. I don't know if that is really a thing but it seems like reducing my chin/neck has made it easier to sleep on my back.

Dr Nelson is an amazing Doctor. I had seen a doctor before him that made me feel very uneasy. I made the appointment with Dr. Nelson and he spent 45 minutes with me before even looking at my breast. He talked about breast augmentation and showed me pictures. He made me feel very comfortable. I am now 4 days post Op and am so satisfied with the results. This Doctor and His Staff Are Top Notch! Best in Tucson

Dr.. Nelson is an artist not only on canvas, but with precisely sculpting masterpieces of the human body. He and his staff are extremely knowledgeable. I had facial and neck procedure done IN office as an option to Dane money, time, and to keep from hassling with general anesthesia. It was as easy as getting a dental procedure done. He explains what he is doing and more importantly WHY. I had zero pain during the procedure. I am less than 24 hours out and the discomfort is minimal. This guy is the real deal, I will be back for sure. This is a friendly, caring, judgement free office (and his staff is very sweet and know their stuff- I was apprehensive due to previous poor reviews about his staff, but they must be gone, because these guys are lovely). Thanks Dr.Nelson! PS- I’m a hobby a mature artist, check out the art work all around the place; he’s made EVERYTHING himself! It’s like an art gallery featuring the surgical artist himself.
