Skin Cancer of the Nose / Basal Cell Skin Cancer of Nose / Skin Cancer Reconstruction - Tucson, AZ

There are about three really good surgeons in Nasal / Cancer reconstruction and Dr. Menick is at the top of the totem pole. Plus, he is a lovely man and treats his reasonable patients very nicely. So, my only regret is not finding Dr. Menick in the first place. I would not have wasted months of my life with another Doctor and if I had found Dr. Menick in the first place. He is the best in the world.

Asked for a Restructure of Nose- Rhinoplasty. I Woke Up with a Mouth Restructure Also - Tucson, AZ

While under anesthetic Dr. Frederick Menick did work that we never discussed. I wanted it removed and he was nasty about it and infected me. Now 19 years later, it looks like I never had a restructuring. When I asked the doctor to remove the plastic piece he put in my upper lip. He was resistant and took it personally. He made me pay for the operating room out of pocket to remove what he put...

Rhinoplasty/Deviated Septum - Tucson, AZ

Dr. Menick is a genius, however, his bedside manner isn't the greatest. This is the one thing I wished he would work on. He was great in the initial consultations, but on the day of the surgery he made me more nervous because his demeanor was different. He did not put me at ease. Perhaps he was getting his game face on for the surgery, but it did cause me anxiety going into the surgery. Post surgery he wasn't as delightful either. HOWEVER, I am indebted to his work on my nose. No one was able to tell I had it fixed, but they could tell someone was different. They just couldn't put their finger on it. I definitely had more confidence after all the swelling went down and the bruising was gone. He really did an amazing job.

My Third Facial Reconstruction - Tucson, AZ

My work with Dr Menick was my third facial reconstruction, so needless to say, I had a lot of experience with different doctors. He was amazing, like discussing a sculpture with an artist rather than a doctor about surgery. My results were miraculous and I met others via his office with similar experience.

Horrific. Tucson, AZ

Damaged eye and breathing problems! Horrible unbelievable pain for months. Both eyes sunken and nerve damage Overwhelming. Consult with another surgeon confirmed that there is extensive scarring and unexplained implant? Dr. Menick did extensive and irreversible damage. Ophthalmologist stated that tear ducts are damaged.

incredible results. Tucson, AZ

Rhinoplasty done by chicago plastic surgeon. Results were terrible. Dr. Menick described exactly what he could do to fix a very difficult problem. He was able to decrease the nostril size, lift the tip and decrease the size of the entire nose. The results were outstanding. Dr menick is straight forward and honest. He is an artist and if you are in need of a difficult nasal reconstruction, he...

Got a Bad Rhinoplasty at Age 19, Need a Revision - Tucson, AZ

Dr Menick is pretty arrogant in my opinion and has no business ruining any more faces. The most disturbing thing I have found is that everyone who's has a bad nose job from him has almost the same problems! Too much removed from one side and breathing problems. He asked me to come in about 6 months after my surgery for pictures and I decided not to show up. I don't want any more to do with him or his office. I was naive when I got my surgery and when I mentioned my concerns he made it sound like it's normal and that I should be happy with what I got. I never tried to get a revision with him even though he rudely offered to do it for $4000.

56, and Recovered from Extensive Skin Cancer on my Nose and Cheek - Tucson, AZ

Dr Menick is honest, up front and respectful with how he presents how he is going to treat you. He did everything he promised and clearly demonstrated his caring and experience. I found that the nurses at St Joseph Hospital in Tucson where he performs the surgeries all rave about him so if he gets glowing reviews from them, then he is the real deal.
