My wife and I always say that Dr. Meltzer is an artist. About 12 years ago I was “playing it safe” and opting to have chest surgery without adding testosterone to fully transition. I was obese, miserable and basically gave Toby Meltzer NOTHING to work with but big flabby pendulous masses. Somehow he saw through this. About a year after surgery I decided to fully transition. Long story short, the weight fell off of me (because I finally had the right hormones making me no longer depressed), I joined a gym, and today at 56 no one even questions if I was born male. Most of my confidence has come from this incredible chest Dr. Meltzer gave me. I’ve got beautiful, strong, defined pecs. I even had a post op infection that resulted in more scarring than usual once I was home, however, even with this, no one questions. I sat in a doctors office recently, my shirt off and he asked me WHY I was taking testosterone. He didn’t have a clue that at birth I was identified as female. Thank you to Toby, Linda & Debbie for taking such great care of me. Love from Portland to Arizona! You changed my life, I only wish I had done this 20 years younger!! Also….Dr. Meltzer has an incredible bedside manner and was available anytime I had questions or concerns.

I had my Vaginoplasty and Labioplasty done by Dr. Toby Meltzer. Vaginoplasty a year ago and Labioplasty 2 months ago. I am extremely happy with the results. I did extensive research before choosing Dr. Meltzer. Sensation was one of my chief concerns and from my research I found out he pioneered the techniques used by other doctors to preserve sensation. I had my 2 surgeries done at The Greenbaum Specialty Hospital at Honor Health in Scottsdale Arizona. Dr. Meltzer’s staff as well as the staff at the hospital all are wonderful caring people, they make you feel like family. All of my needs were take care of and I felt as if I was their only patient the both times I was in the hospital. Dr. Meltzer’s staff takes care of you from pre operation education through post operation follow up and beyond. Friendships with several of his staff are still ongoing. Dr. Meltzer personally takes the time with you whenever you talk with him. He understands how difficult it can be to understand the process and takes the time with you until all of your questions have been answered and you feel comfortable with everything.In November I am having Breast Augmentation, Lip Lift and Lip Augmentation done by Dr Meltzer in Portland Oregon. He opened a clinic in Portland last year and does surgery at Legacy Good Samaritan Hospital in Northwest Portland. I trust Dr. Meltzer completely and plan on having several other procedures done by him in the future. I totally appreciate his skill and artistry as the results of the surgery are virtually perfect as well as being totally functional in every way. I am so glad I found him. You will be too.

Had the second stage of my surgery (labiaplasty) in August. Again, amazing results. I'd recommend him to anyone. I gave four stars only because I developed a kidney infection from the catheter (not his fault), but that was a mere bump in the road compared the results I got. His staff are the best (shout out to Jeff, Debbie, Rachel, Meg, and everybody who had a part in the process), and Dr. Meltzer's bedside manner is number one in my book.

Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Dr. Meltzer is very friendly and personable, and his staff are great (I'm bad at remembering names, and I don't want to leave anybody out, but you guys rock!!). The procedure went off without a hitch, and I am very happy with the result. Suffice to say, I am very pleased.

I have waited 2 long years for this procedure. I would love to share it to the world how happy I am and feel comfortable of myself. Self esteem and beauty with in me rise up. Yes. Recovery was short. Outpt in office procedure. Small amt of pain for 2 days and swelling. Sutures dissolved. No visible scars and full sensation and function remain. He also did a labia majora reduction with virtually invisible scar in the lateral creases. He is nothing short of amazing.
