I switched from my longtime Botox gal to Nyeree because she was close to my house and I read her great reviews. I SO wish I would have come to her sooner. She did Botox between my eyebrows, crows feet, and forehead. I let her know the look I was hoping for and left the dosage up to her, and it was PERFECT. I look completely natural (but with no wrinkles
I highly recommend Nyeree! I’ve gone to her a few time for Botox and absolutely love the results. She is very kind and professional and always takes care of her patients. It’s the little things like follow up calls to make sure everything settled ok that make the difference to me. Her location is beautiful and she puts you at ease with the injections. She is also priced very fair!
A: Hello Mandy,
I am so sorry to hear you are dealing with this. Yes a little asymmetry can happen after lip injections but usually settles down after the swelling calms down within a couple weeks. Not months
That being said, Voluma is quite a robust filler for lips as it is very dense. If you have not done so already I would recommend going back to your plastic surgeon so he can see the results in person. If needed Voluma can be dissolved although it will take a higher dose and may take a few treatments.
Take care,
Nyeree Hazelton, RN BSN. Cosmetic Nurse Injector.
A: Hi Sara.
Please don’t be embarrassed to go back to your Injector. I always ask my patients to contact me if they ever have questions or concerns.
Without knowing what dosage you were given each time it is hard to give an accurate answer. It may be that your Injector was being conservative the first time. Your touch up was only 5 days ago so I would give it the full two weeks to do it’s job. I am sure it will be better by then. If not absolutely contact your Injector again to go in so they can assess what would be the next next step.
Take care,
Nyeree Hazelton, RN BSN. Cosmetic Nurse Injector.
A: Thank you for your question. This is not an abnormal occurrence. Many people have uneven muscles in their face that are not seen until Botox injections are received.
As you are 11 days post injection I would recommend calling your Injector and scheduling a follow up appointment for after 14 days post injection as that will be when the Botox has fully kicked in. They should easily be able to add a couple more units to stop that remaining muscle movement.
Take care!
A: Thank you for your question! Many people aren’t sure what Botox can and cannot do. In this case Botox would not be the right choice as it works to relax muscles. To reduce small pockets of fat, like the double chin, you will want Kybella. Kybella works to destroy fat cells permanently. I have had great success with Kybella in the right patients. You will want to find an Injector experienced with Kybella injections so they can let you know what your best options are.
A: Hello! You ask a valid question as many people are not sure about this. None of the neuromodulators (Botox/Dysport/Xeomin) or fillers are recommended during preganancy, including under 2 months. No studies have been performed on pregnant women so we do not know what the effects may be or how they may harm the fetus. This also applies to breastfeeding women. I tell my patients to wait until after they are done breastfeeding and I will be happy to inject them at that time.
Congratulations on your pregnancy! Take care.
