I have to say having a facelifts, upper & lower bleph, chemical peel , lipo on chin area and temporal lift this was the best things I have ever done for myself. Having Dr. McCollough and his staff was the best decision I ever made. Dr. McCollough and his staff provided me with all the necessary tools and information to have a painless experience. If I would have known the procedures were this painless I would have done this years ago. For years I let the thought of the pain keep me from doing the procedure. I absolutely love my results and will continue to use Dr. McCollough for anything I ever want in the future.
He is the best!! I had rhinoplasty and chin augmentation and I'm amazed. He is very caring and patient. I was so worried about the results, but he did an amazing job. It was worth every penny, you won't regret it.
Dr. McCollough and his staff are the best. If you know of any other surgeon in the country that you think may be comparable to his skill level, then I'm sure he trained them! Compassionate, big hugs, I was his ONLY patient.........or so I thought. Only 10 days post op and I am already astounded with the results and look forward to the finished masterpiece in a few months.
I lost a lot of weight after my last baby and ended up with saggy loose skin under my neck and my cheeks were sagging too. Also developed fatty bags under my eyes so I had a neck, cheek lift, lower blepharoplasty, and tummy tuck all done. I'm 11 days post op & improving daily. My neck was really sore up until day 9 then it finally loosened up a bit. I still have discoloration by my ears and under my eyes but it's fading.Swelling & tightness under my jawline & under my eyes. Updated on 12 May 2015: Face is looking good, waiting for the incision lines to fade from my lower bleph. Still have a little discoloration on one side in front of my ears. Neck is still a little stiff, I don't have full range of motion yet and that's driving me nuts. I didn't expect it to be like this at 4 weeks still. It gets better each day so I suspect by 2 months I'll be back to normal.
Pros: body doesn't reject, does make lips fuller than natural lips you were born with ; no infection, pretty easy recovery Cons: I myself my body re-adsorbed a percentage of it; not all of it but enough where it took some of my pout away, but still bigger than my natural lips; fascia was taken from both sides of my neck; was cut open behind both of my ears to get in my neck; little bit sensitivity behind ears but went away after a month I was afraid of the other available lip augmentation(implant such as gortex, silicone and Silkon1000) all of these had bad outcomes and actually spoke with several PS who talked against them and was removing more than putting in. After reading reviews on here glad i did my research on the internet and spoke with several PS. I did look at Alloderm, but in time over a 7 yr period gets re-adsorbed so i found using my own Fascia would be best and safest. I had been getting up to 3 injections a year(2 together and come back in a month for the 3 injection) which costs 1575 for the past 3 yrs.....lets do the math 4725.00 total.... i was done and wanted a more permanent solution. The surgery cost me 3500.00 well here iam again and not happy...my pic does show my lips that i have now and will post some pics what they use to look like 2days after surgery and month...loved them was soo happy....Dr. was hesitant and putting too much in my lip because it cant be removed, but he did offer to have me come back in 3mths to redo again at a much cheaper rate to make me happy. It took about a year and 1/2 to make me not happy...i know i could call and go back, but not thrilled about having behinds my ears cut again....i believe it did make an improvement in size with my lips but didn't hold enough...my Dr was great; would recommend and go again for other procedures. Dr. McCollough does excellent work and has a great staff
I had brain surgery (from an aneurysm that burst) in 2010 that gave me many infections including a now missing 3"piece of skull on my right temple. I am 5'9 now 125#. I had gained 40#'s from the steroids I was on and after all this, my face sagged and was off center. I had been going to my girl for micro then lazer genisis, using all the face creams out there and all said it made my skin look great but didnt really fix my face. I really did not think a simple injection could help my face but I thought why not. I cant explain in words how dramatically uplifted I feel. This Dr. has evened out my face, gave me my cheeks back, my crooked lips (didnt go into my lips, just underneath) my eye hollows are gone, he even evened out my one eyebrow that sagged from the lack of skull. I was so worried about infection, bruising and swelling. I had minimal swelling and no bruising whatsoever. So I believe you HAVE to have a DR do this with alot of experience. I went in wanting cheek and jowel and he was like an artist with my face. He was in my eyebrows, undereye, underlip, chin then jowel and cheek. ITS the best money I have ever spent in the spa. Hands Down.
Lipoed one side of face left cheek pulled. Earlobe cut off. Attempted a lip lift drooling out one side of mouth incisions in top of head not even supposed to have now indentions. Neck hanging down. A mess
For facelifting and eye lift surgery, we prefer monitored anesthesia with local anesthetics rather than general anesthesia. It is the same anesthesia used for colonoscopy in patients of all ages.
It makes perfect sense to do them in combination in order to reduce operating room costs, anesthesia, and recovery. It is something that I do frequently.
