Underwent Revision Rhinoplasty in October of 2022. Complication resulted in scar on bridge / upper dorsal area. Seven months ago, the surgeon excised the scaroriginally improving it. However, since then, the scar widened and atrophied, resulting in the recurrence of a noticeable contour irregularity. Currently doing CO2 laser resurfacing, but I'm concerned about the anticipated results. Another surgeon suggested Fat Transfer but my surgeon does not believe the fat will survive in this area.
Hello! I'm looking for facial fat rejuvenation to fill in laugh lines & pick up jowls. I also need mircofat added to my nose after a surgeon in Turkey completely destroyed my nose material (surgically removed all septal to replace with rib), shape & removed nearly the entire fat layer. Hello, I have never had facial fat transfer before. I have heard some horror stories about fat graft to the nasolabial fold resulting in necrosis to the nose. I just had my rhinoplasty 2 months ago and would like to try fat graft to the mid cheeks and temple area. Are there any risks or side effects like necrosis to the nose with those areas?
Hope things are going well! I've previously had fat injections to the face, but I noticed that the fat was firmer than the softer facial fat that was originally there. I've recently decided that I might need to do something about my submental pooch, but since the consistency of the fact there is very similar to that on my face, I would like for it to be injected if at all possible. I mainly just want to inject around the nose and nasal labial folds. Attaching worst possible pic I could find.
Dear Drs, I am considering a fat grafting procedure to my face, in the hopes it would alleviate the pronounced lines alongside my nose, mouth and chin as well as the dark circles under my yes and laughter lines. Am I a good candidate for this procedure and how would you determine if your surgeon is following best practice?
Hi, I had fat transfer done 5 years ago from my hip area to the bridge of my nose, mainly in the upper region towards my eyebrows and slightly in the mid bridge for projection. I now want to remove it because I miss my natural small nose. I have a very small bone structure to begin with and am not wanting to augment cartilage or bone. I just want all the fat to be removed so my bone structure can be seen again. Thanks!
I had fat grafts 1 day ago to nasal, cheeks and eye trough areas. I have allergies that cause itchy nose and I inadvertently rubbed my nose quite vigorously causing movements to the surrounding areas. I am really worried that I might have caused damage to grafted fat cells.
