im 28 & have congenital malar bags, prominent nasolabial folds, & flat/sunken mid face. im trying to figure out my options. if i got malar bag surgery, could i get facial fat transfer after? does the surgery solve the root cause or only the appearance? also would i benefit from a mid facelift/full face lift at this point? my face appears prematurely saggy and hollow. id like to avoid filler if possible.
Hi! I am 34 years old petite 50 115-120 lbs and have malar lines. Theres hollowness directly under my eye but my main issue is this line/indentation I have that runs from my tear trough down to my cheek. Ive researched that my issue is the cheek/malar junction or something. I had fillers once and dissolved, didnt work. Fat graft? Heard its a hard area to treat. Help! :) and who is the best for this delicate area?
I had a Facelift 6 months ago. I wanted the Malar fat pad line (not sure if that is what it is called) to be fixed. They are both still there, with the one side being worse than before. Do facelifts not correct this? or do I need a fat transfer to the cheek? I dont want filler but rather a permanent solution.
I have been dissolving old filler 2 months ago and now left with dents on my cheeks. I also had Restylane done last month, it didn't help to fill the dents but even caused malar bags. I am looking for a solution to fill dents and hide malar bags
Hi I am a 32yo. I have tried Teoxane filler multiple times for my eyes developed filler related Malar Edema. I have had the filler dissolved. I think hyaluronidase has dissolved my natural fat also contributing to my eye/cheek junction issues. I have tried Morpheus 8, although this helped with the malar edema, it has done nothing for my under eye/cheek issue. I am now considering surgical options only. I am unsure if I need a mid face lift or lower bleph/fat transfer?or both?
Hi, I've noticed an increased volume loss since I was 16. I constantly look tired and the shadows created on my face from the fat deficiency is very noticeable under certain lighting/from a distance. I am looking to get a somewhat permanent fix and wanted some opinions. I'm only 21 but do you think I would have a good chance of success with facial fat transfer or should I resort to fillers for the time being? Thanks.
Hi, I've got awful malar creases on the tops of my cheeks that I absolutely hate. I have no allergies and noticed the problem when I began running and lost about 10-15 pounds. I have tried fillers and didn't like the result. Because I'm so young I don't want to get crazy and would prefer an outpatient procedure. I am really hoping lasers can help here. If not, perhaps a fat grafting procedure? Thanks so much for your responses. I'm desperate to look as young as I feel.
I'm 2 weeks post fat grafting to malar, buccal areas in cheek and temples. Doc and I agreed to transfer 30cc of purified fat, which he ended up using on my face. I feel like most of my swelling is gone: 1) Could most swelling be gone at 2 weeks? 2) Is this close to my final result? I know I'll lose some fat over next few months but how much is lost after 2 weeks? 3) Would 30cc give me a substantial (noticeable) correction? I asked for that and hope to see a fuller version of myself. Thank you.
