I had two facial fat transfer procedures almost three years ago. The second procedure was due to the fact that some of the fat disappeared on my right cheek/midface area. After the second procedure an issue emerged. The fat would swell every time I drank or eat certain food..Eg: coffee, certain alcohol, spicy food. If I avoid these things, then my face looks normal. Could I have a bacterial infection in the fat? Could it be candida transferred from the abdominal area?
In 2014 I had fat graft to my forehead which later on was infected with mycobacteria Non tuberculosis. The treatment of draining combining with antibiotic went on for 1.5 years which resulted with scar tissues beneath the skin where the drainage was. I waited 1 year plus for the scar to settle before having Juvederm fillers. Its been 4 years & its barely even. Im depressed and feel like a freak. Hoping to find a permanent solution such as forehead implant. Is it possible?
Im looking to have a facial fat transfer done after years of suffering from a chronic illness that caused a lot of my facial fat to disappear. My illness started with an severe adverse reaction to an antibiotic that dismantled my immune system and nervous system so I am not looking to take another antibiotic any time soon. I am wondering if its possible to have a facial fat transfer procedure without antibiotics? Is the risk of infection too high?
Almost 20 years ago I had a fat transfer to my upper lip and in 2009 I had a hyaluronic filler infected to the upper lip. My upper lip is now too big, uneven and when I smile the underside shows. How do I get it back to normal?
8 days ago I had fat transfer harvested from my inner thighs. This area was previously injected with silicone filler but since I put on weight the doctor sucked out the fat portion. 4 days ago it started hurting progressively worse. Feels like muscle pain. No fever. Area isn't warm. No pain sitting but extreme pain standing. Yesterday my doctor gave me another round of antibiotics. I also take Cellcept for an autoimmune disorder. My other leg doesn't hurt at all now. Looking for second option.
I really need to get my hips done and liposuction the fat from my stomach is the only place that I can take from. I have absolutely know curves what so ever. What I'm afraid of is getting a infection and something bad happening. I don't need and butt work, just hips, so can you please give me some advice please, Thank You.
So I had surgery March 17 everything is going well still feel kind of sore I have noticed that I have more pain on my right hip where fat was placed I did notice today after a long period of standing that it was hot at the touch and is now red and swollen could it be some kind of infection
