I am 8 days post surgery, under my eyes are still quite puffy and every color of the rainbow, purple, red, yellow etc, my lips look like duck lips. I look in the mirror and still do not see me, I wanted to still look like me just not a tired me, I love my Doctor and I hopeful that this is still just part of the healing process- my lips and weird and my smile has changed..He knows I just wanted a real natural appearance.
I had a fat transfer to my face 5 days ago and I do not look like myself. I have seen other photo of before and after picture where you can see a slight improvement that would go un-seen. However, I look like a totally differnt person with chipmunk cheeks. I know the swelling can take up to 3 weeks to go down, but my swelling has not gone down from day 1. Please let me know if my pictures look normal.
I just recently did a fat grafting to my upper eyelid . Its almost a week now and its not recovering and its starting to became red and very swollen this two days ago.. I went and see my doctor, she gave me an antibiotic injection and took out some of the blood from my eyelid because its been hard for me to open my eyes.. is this normal? Will I ever recover? Im really worried because it seems like its not going down. What is happening? What should I do?
Autologous fat grafts palpate as hard, discrete and nodular. Respected physician assures this is normal. Is this normal? Is it wise/unwise to massage these? Are they less predictable than fillers might have been? 2 gum balls where I'd had jowling and pearl-sized bumps under eyes. As edema goes away, lumps look more prominent. I'm in my late 40's, 8 dyas post-facelift , lower lid blepharoplasty w/numerous autologous grafts to face.
8 days ago I had fat transfer harvested from my inner thighs. This area was previously injected with silicone filler but since I put on weight the doctor sucked out the fat portion. 4 days ago it started hurting progressively worse. Feels like muscle pain. No fever. Area isn't warm. No pain sitting but extreme pain standing. Yesterday my doctor gave me another round of antibiotics. I also take Cellcept for an autoimmune disorder. My other leg doesn't hurt at all now. Looking for second option.
7 Days ago, I had lipo done on inner thighs, banana roll, arms, tummy, PLUS fat transfer to outer thighs/hips to fill in an overzealous lipo from 3 years ago. Went in at 127 pounds, and am 135 and rising, 7 days later. Swelling + over correction = WAY too much volume on my outer thighs. How do I decrease swelling/fluid retention? How do I kill some fat cells as well? Thank you, Nervous in DC
I've had fat transfer done, and I am a bit swollen (5days po). Will it help my skin if I use tretinoine cream, I am scared that from the swelling from the fat transfer, my skin will be 'pulled' to much, and less firm, after the swelling will go down. I thought maybe tretinoine cream helps regenerate, or will it harm the fat graft?
The left side of my cheap only in last day developed into hard lump although there was always a bruise. On my right side of face no bruise and no lump. Is it too soon to start worrying this could be necrosis? Also if edema how long on average will it take to resolve?
