Recently I have noticed two raised bumps right above my eyebrows. I'm unsure if this is my brow being very prominent or if its anything else. They look odd, and I have been looking at other people and don't see anyone else with this raised brow. It is very noticeable in pictures where a flash is used and makes me very self conscious. I seek advice and help of what can be done to get rid of these, and if someone can explain. I am a 20 year old male. I don't know how long this has been there, thanks!
Ive been reading a lot about facelifts and several people have mentioned lumps and bumps from dissolvable sutures. I am 65 and considering a facelift. Most of what I have read says they take nine months to dissolve. Are they visible for 9 months? That does not fit with most descriptions of a facelift and how happy you will be by 4 to 6 weeks after.
Hello. I don't like my bumps next to my mouth I guess it might be cause I have lost baby fat but I have had it since I remember. Also when I smile It makes weird folds next to my mouth. I have already had some fat dissolving injections (lower cheeks) and fillers (upper cheeks) with no effect on this. What kind of procedure would help me? Thank you for help.
I am two weeks post op and healing well. However, I have developed a rash with small red bumps that itch like crazy along my neck and under my chin. Not sure how to treat this (ice, heat, allergy cream) and wondered if this is a normal healing reaction from the skin being stretched or something entirely different.
I hate these bumps under my cheeks next to corners of my mouth, when I look down. Is it buccal fat? Do I need endoscopic cheeks lift, blepharoplasty and upper lip lift? My forehead is already quite large and zygoma bones are too wide, so I dont want to make it any bigger (with endoscopic lift?). Is there a way to make face smaller? Central part of the face is too wide. And at the same time my cheeks are flat. My facial skin is very thin and moves easily.
I had a deep plane facelift done 63 days ago. What can these sausage-like bumps be? They are soft. Its not swelling. (I have no swelling elsewhere) And they appear more when I speak. My surgeon is very skilled and says he wants to wait at least 6 month has passed. But in the meantime, could you please tell me what you think it is and if you think there is a way for my surgeon to remove them? I am very happy with everything but these bumps looks very strange and it makes me unhappy.
Neck/lower face lift 16 mo ago. See pics. Also dents in my cheek w/facial movement and small bumps(pimple size). I have burning in that area at times. Tight choking feeling on the left side of throat and pulling under chin. Had botox to jaw, sternomastiod and traps for spasms due to cervical neck problems 3 1/2 months ago. (had in the past before surgery...surgeon knew) After Botox I now get burning in sides of face and tightness under chin and throat is worse. Can this be fixed without surgery
I am seriously considering having a MACS facelift. I had a full facelift 7 years ago and one cheek remained bruised for a long time, so I know that I have thin skin as well as a thin face. I have researched a lot and am aware that there can be bumpiness in the cheeks caused by the deep sutres, and I am very concderned that with a thin face I might have long lasting bumpiness. Is this a realistic concern and would there be any treatment should this occur.
I had a MACS Facelift done exactly a month ago. One side of my face seems to be healing well and the other seems like it may have not been stitched up properly. There are raised bumps and 2 tiny holes in my skin. Should I give it more time to heal or is this something I should worry about? How long does it usually take the scar to heal?
