I am a 61 yr old fair, skinned, female. I am planning on a neck lift , wish to incorporate the facelift simultaneously. Very nervous and scared about the facelift. Many types, MAC, SMAS, Endoscopic, deep plane, mini deep plane, mini lift etc.. New EO2 dressing reduce scarring, swelling, bruising , decrease pain,speeds healing. 4 hr procedure, overwhelming. Wish less cutting, best result smoother recovery. Seeing pics of people recovering looks terrible. What our my best options?
I'm 66 and a happy person. But I look sad because of the lines going down from the corners of my mouth to each side of my chin. I also have little pockets of fat on each side along my jaw line. Guess this is all normal, but I'm tired of hiding behind my long hair. I'm afraid of a face lift, and have read that a lower face lift does not take care of the Marionette lines anyway. What to do? Thank you
I am a 68-year old man who had his first facelift five weeks ago. On my pre-op, the doctor drew a picture showing how the scar would follow the rear junction of my ear about 3/4 of the way up, and then cross the shortest possible distance into my hairline. Photos show what was actually done. Behind the left ear the low incision ends in bunched skin that forms two very noticeable hard lumps. (My wife's facelift sixteen years ago was done with high incisions.) WHY did my doctor do this????
Ive been reading a lot about facelifts and several people have mentioned lumps and bumps from dissolvable sutures. I am 65 and considering a facelift. Most of what I have read says they take nine months to dissolve. Are they visible for 9 months? That does not fit with most descriptions of a facelift and how happy you will be by 4 to 6 weeks after.
About 30 years my cheeks were way over-filled. I was looking to repair some collagen loss, but a great deal of fat was transferred. The doctor put the fat in with a needle from inside my mouth. The left side is worse. Im going on 67 yrs old and should also get at least a lower face lift, but I dont want to do that without being able to correct the fat transfer. Kybella? Liposuction? Cut out during facelift? Thank you
I was rejected for a Facelft/Necklift because of a mild primary immune deficiency. I was diagnosed 11 years ago because of chronic sinus infections, and a below normal IgG antibody level. I began monthly IVIG infusions, and since then, have had no sinus infections, and have a normal IgG antibody level. My immunologist says that my risk of having complications from this procedure due to the immune deficiency is very low. I am 66, and otherwise healthy. Can I never have a Facelift/Necklift?
