When I saw my Surgeon a week ago he said I was healing well. I didn't notice this at the time. However he said that some of my dissolving stitches were coming to the surface. He removed the ones sticking out. Could this be why? Will I lose the affect of my facelift? So much anxiety I find going through the healing process.
I had a horrendous facelift/necklift which resulted in many complications following the surgery so I am beginning to wonder if I was in good hands. I didn't even think that I needed a neck lift but was reluctantly convinced. Are these scars normal for a faceleft/necklift? One scar is on the hairline (left ear) whereas the scar on the other side is more than a half inch below the hairline which means that it will be visible when I wear my hair up. It has been 8 weeks since the surgery.
I had neck and facelift 8 weeks ago. Is this lumpiness and ridge normal. I also am still very red on one side. I'm not sure if its still bruising or if the skin is scarred. I'm posting pictures. My PS said he didn't know what the puffed area was.
August 20 I had full face lift, rhino, liplift, lower lid bleph, chin lipo and lipo btwn jowls and ends of lips. Im female, 44. All the procedures were performed at one time. Now I have still some saggy and uneven chin, some swelling lumps on it, and the jowls are worst than before surgery, mouth and jowls area looks worst than before surgery. Is normal?is swelling or saggy skin? if its swelling when is going to subside? I am doing LDM and ultrasound. I feel sore that area.
I am 7 weeks after a comprehensive facelift. My earlobes look somehow strange. They were attached before but the earlobes were shorter and round. What I can I do to change their form?
I got a facelift 9 weeks ago. Swelling is almost completely gone. I noticed swelling on the inside of my mouth before I went to sleep on Sat 6th. I woke up on Sun 4-7-2019 with my whole face swollen, looking like I have an abcess, which I don't because I have dentures. I simply played cards with friends on Sat, had a couple of drinks then went home. It's Monday and the swelling is still here. I didn't drink or eat anything unusual and I'm not allergic to anything. What could cause swelling?
I had a face and neck lift 8 weeks ago and have suddenly developed an angry red area immediately in front of the right ear. Can this be from a problem originating underneath the skin which is manifesting itself so late after surgery? there is also a noticeable elongated dent on that side.. Any suggestions as to the cause? I'm getting concerned because of the time elapsed since surgery. The redness I have developed is not within the scar line in front of the ear but about 1/2 cm further away, it doesn't touch the scar. I'm therefore wondering if the surgeon placed a stitch in that spot to hold up the jowl fat and this is now causing the problem.There is no pain or swelling, just redness.
Hi, I had a midface lift two months ago and now I look like a cat. I am only 33 but wanted to correct the droopyness on one side of my face caused by an injury in my childhood. I had a deep nasolabial fold on that side (still do), but I liked the other side of my face. My PS insisted I have a midface on both sides. Now when I smile my eyes slant upward and get small and beady and I get two deep creases under each eye. Will this go away? I don't smile anymore b/c I look like a freak when I do.
