Had upper and lower eyelids done in May 2019. Surgeon used method that caused scars to extend beyond edge of eyes. Scars have now are wider and have whitened to be visible. Concealing with cosmetics has not been sufficient. What are my options to correct this situation as I am very conscientious about it.
I had an operation on the upper eyelids about two years ago, and the scars have grown and are still visible, and the scar on the right eyelid is bothering me, where the scar is not only visible, but also raised a little and harder to the touch, therefore the right upper eyelid seems to be a shade larger than the left eyelid. I am not what to do, so I need professional advice in solving this problem?
I had eyelid surgery one year ago and have been left with a very unsightly scar. The scar has webbed and is also very long and wide. People notice this scar within minutes of meeting me and I am very self-conscious about it. Want to know what treatments can help me look like I use to look.
Had blepharoplasty (Rt eye) & ptosis correction (Lt eye) performed ~4.5 wks ago. Now, inner corners have hypertrophic scars (steroid injections 3 days ago), redness, tightness, & mild pain. Left eyelid feels numb & swollen. Right eyelid has secondary creasing from hypertrophic scarring at inner corner. Is this normal recovery? Should I be using silicone gel sheets? Should I continue to massage my scars? Pls help. Thanks v much.
I had considerable hooding so had both an upper Blepharoplasty and a Lateral Browlift a week ago. I expected the bleph scar to be hidden in the eyelid crease, but the suture line, beginning about 2/3 of the way across the eye, departs from the crease and extends outward an inch or more from the eye. Is this normal and how can I minimize?
I'm post op 2 months scar on my right lid is way higher than left. Left eye lid and brow seems big and still swollen. Although the scars are at different heights do the eyes have a chance to look the same?Currently eyes look totally different.
Hi I still have webbing of the skin at the inner corners of eyes 17 days after upper blepharoplasty! Is this normal? I have rang the hospital where i was operated and the nurse told me it was quite normal, that is due to swelling and the scars pulling. She assured me it will go away over a period of weeks to months as the scar tissue softens. Also i have a very lump like thick scar on the right outer corner of my eye which is very obvious! I would appreciate any feedback! Many thanks in advance.
Could you please have a look at pics of my scars from Blepharoplasty done 4 weeks ago and tell me if that looks correct to you? First of all is the length of the cut normal ? It seems like people have way shorter cut. And is it normal that my scars are still so red ? I dont see any change since 2 weeks. I put kelo-cote twice a day but no change. Will appreciate your answers. Thank you in advance. B.
