I had upper and lower blepharoplasty 2 weeks ago and have a scab under the eye, but nowhere near the sutures. The Doc is concerned and wants to keep an eye on it over the next 2 weeks. He said its a concern as it may pull the eye down and maybe even have to have surgery and skin graft! Why has this happened and what else can I do to help it heal or prevent more surgery?
I had a lower blepharoplasty with fat repositioning 3 weeks ago. After the stitches were removed the black scab line under my eye remained and hasn't improved much since. When can I expect this to disappear and is there anything I can do to make it go away faster It's quite noticeable
I had an upper bleph 7 days ago. The stitches were removed today, day 7. I have vertical lines on the outer aspect of each eye, some are red and slightly indented and some are scabs. Will this cause train track like scars? Photos are blurry as its hard to get a clear closeup using my outdated phone.
7 months ago I did incisional double eyelid surgery, ptosis correction, and epicanthoplasty. I've been noticing a small scab in the fold of my left eye, it's hard to the touch and a little uncomfortable. My eyelids are slightly uneven, and I'm not sure if this scab would be the cause of this. I don't think the scab will fade (I waited to see if it would) so will this require revisional surgery?
ER diagnsd cellulitis, gave 2 antibiotics. Saw PS 2 days later, said it's cont derm from bacitracin, wash it, dry out, put nothing on it, gave antiinflamm, stop antibiotics. ER called, said culture returnd yeast, gave Diflucan but still take rest antibiotics, which I am, better safe than sorry. Skin is cracked, if it scabs will it scar? Should I be lubricating it? Should I seek a new Dr? This Would not have happnd if dr had called me back a wk ago when I started calling. He seemed nonchalant.
My left eyelid is lower than my right. I notice it most in photos. I don't remember it doing so before a severe stye infected my upper eyelid 5 years ago. I did drain the stye at home and it scabbed over quite a bit. Could that have something to do with it?
I think, it was not done properly, She did not use alcohol and went deeply with the needle with no magnifying glass not proper lighting. 2 weeks after the scabs are gone, but I have pink scaring, some of it deeper. Is this going to disappear or shall I be worried? I 57 years old and the healing process is slower I guess. Thank you.
I had a lower (and upper) blepharoplasty 2 weeks ago and my disposable sutures are still visible. I assume that I just have to wait that out but there is also a small scab over part if the incision and I'm not sure what to do about it. I'm afraid to pick at it and cause it to bleed but I've also read (here) that scabs=scars. Is there something I can do to expedite healing and/or how shall I treat this?
