My eye shape has gone from almond to tired and droopy after a lower bleph. The surgeon said that she created a knot in the corner of the eye to prevent retraction and that with massage it will go away in a year (first she said a month, then 3 months but kept extending it). My eyes are different shapes, are droppy and have unsightly scar tissue near the corner, will this actually heal or do I need to get a revision.
Ok, I am 7 months post upper eyelid surgery and my right eye looks weird when I show any expression. Ive had eyelid surgery twice before 10 and 15 years ago. Can this be fixed? my doctor wants to wait a little bit longer but honestly its been like this from the beginning and its only getting more prominent as the months go on. I just want it fixed but I dont want to keep doing procedures and end up worse. Its scares me a little and I think I need a 2nd opinion.
I recently got an orbital rim Reduction surgery around 3 months ago. I'm not sure if I like the results. Every time I look in the mirror I don't recognise myself and I think I prefer how I looked prior to the operation. Can this surgery be reversed when everything is healed? For example by adding in implants to that area?
Hello. After a lower eyelid plastic surgery with fat distribution, my eye has become small and the eyelid has lost its shape. It is mostly visible from the front and when I look towards the nose. The eyelid goes over the iris. I have become more sunken and have more wrinkles and loose skin. What could have happened? Has too much fat been taken or is the muscle retractor affected? The eyelid does not follow when I look obliquely down the nose. What can I do to get my eye bigger again?
Had upper and lower eyelids done in May 2019. Surgeon used method that caused scars to extend beyond edge of eyes. Scars have now are wider and have whitened to be visible. Concealing with cosmetics has not been sufficient. What are my options to correct this situation as I am very conscientious about it.
Hi there, I am a 42 year old female - white - who had upper and lowe eye surgery to correct some mild aging concerns. I developed some chemosis after surgery. Now, after over one year, one eye appears bigger. Any advice? It really bothers me. My original surgeon is overseas and I will not go back to him. Thank you
The outer corners of both of my eyes have skin that seems to look as if it is pulling downwards. After expressing my concerns with my surgeon, they advised that I wait a full year before discussing what can be done further. I am past the year mark now and there has been no improvement, if anything they have gotten worse. I am looking for advice about what sort of procedure needs to be done to correct this. Thanks.
I had my upper eyelids revised 3 years ago after losing 100+ lbs and have lost an additional 50 in the last year. My eyelids feel like they are weighing down on my eyelashes again. Is it reasonable to think I would be able to get approval for another blepharoplasty from my insurance company in such a short time?
Post 3 months revision bleph + Internal Ptosis Correction. Excessive skin @ lateral side or eyes just hooded + eyelash concern? Hi, I've had revision surgery about 3 months ago to lower my crease and correct my mild ptosis. I am still cornered about the hooded appearance of the lateral part of my eyes. I am just wondering if the reason for this sagging, downward appearance is contributed to the hooded nature of my low-set eyebrows or the presence of excessive skin. Additionally, my eyelashes are still downward-pointing especially on my right eye. Eyelash curler, lash lift do not seem to correct it well. What can I do?
