I have had hooded eyes my whole life. Now that I am older (44), they have gotten much worse even though I have been religiously applying skin tightening creams. I wear glasses and my eyelids are so bad that they rub the lenses when I laugh or smile and they leave oil smudges several times a day. That can be really dangerous, especially when driving. Insurance - can this be corrected under medical necessity and not elective cosmetic? If so, what do I need to do?
I have deep lines under my eyes which I have recently learnt are Debbie Morgan folds, a dark smile line (crease) on the left side of my face and a dark shadow on my upper lip. Is there anything I can do to get rid of these. I have been using almond oil under my eyes and on my upper lip. I am only 19 and a student and don't have the money for really expensive treatment. Thank you
I had upper/lower blepharoplasty 7 days ago, and my sutures were removed at day 6. The suture lines feel tight, particularly when I laugh or smile. Is it too early to begin using a natural oil (like coconut oil or rose hips oil) on my suture lines? My surgeon said to not use Neosporin as this could irritate the suture lines. I've applied a very thin layer of coconut oil to deep cuts to reduce scarring (with fantastic results), but I wasn't sure if this would be appropriate for incision scars.
