I went in for a consultation for lower eye surgery and informed the surgeon I had a previous consult in which the surgeon told me I would not be happy with my results- I would also need fat graphing. The surgeon told me he has performed 1000's of lower eyelid surgeries and I would be fine. It has been 8 months and there is no difference. I was told that it was due to me having prior surgery 15 years ago The surgeon said he was sorry and there was nothing else he could do. HELP!
I have very heavy swollen eyelids. And it's not water retention. I had upper blepharoplasty 4 years ago and it didn't do anything to address this problem. When PS was performing surgery he said that it's was due to fiber inflammation and it's not uncommon. What procedure could help with it?
I'm really hoping you can help. I hate my under eye area, it's making me depressed. I have some fine lines and crepe like texture, however the worst part are the huge smile lines when smiling. I've tried 2 methods of resurfacing with no improvement. I've had Botox to the under eye area with no improvement, also had chemical peels. It's costing a fortune. Do I have excess skin and need a blepharoplasty?I had filler in the past but it was restalyne Lyft which created buldges when smiling.
I had 2 blepharoplastys with local anaesthetic the 1st one made no difference & neither did the 2nd. He now tells me I need a brow lift after taking my money and going through 2 very unpleasant procedures let alone time 2 weeks off work x2. From the before and after 2nd surgery picture do you think I need a brow lift? If so shouldnt I have been told that before taking my money? Should I ask for my money back or a 3rd surgery? He didnt charge me for the 2nd surgery. Not sure what to do!
I developed a chalazion in my lower left eyelid around 8 months ago. I was finally able to undergo a procedure to drain it a week ago. Since that's the case, why is my eyelid still the same size as it was before the procedure? The difference in size is clearly visible when I smile. Note: The red spot on the eyelid is a scar that was left over from a stye.
I thought both eyes would be a tighter smoother look after the surgery. It looks better than prior to the surgery but having gone through all of this & spending so much money, arent my expectations realistic & I should have a much smoother look to my lower eyes? I did express this to my doctor but he was actually insulted & disagreed with me. I dont know about a revision. I dont know how else to fix this or if he would even agree to doing a revision.
i had done double eyelid surgery a week ago.i want medium crease the doctor said ok seeing his previous result i dont doubt anything.but after the surgery done i know he did partial incision and the suture was not even tied properly after the surgery my eyes were very swollen and red and most imortant i dont get double eyelid crease which i wanted i am so depressed the swollen gone but no result.
It's been a week since my double eyelid surgery and I just had my stitches removed today. I do not see any sort of crease at all. Is that normal? I can see my scar/stitch line clearly as it is on the surface and not hidden in the crease like it's suppose to. You might say I need to give it time for swelling to come down, etc. I do know that, but shouldn't a crease be visible immediately after surgery even if it was supposed to be super swollen? I'm really upset. Pls help.
Had ptosis repair a week ago. The night of the surgery my eyes looked bigger than pre-op & more like when I was younger, but since then they look like pre-op. I had minimal swelling and almost no bruising ever since surgery. Today it seems swelling in my creases is almost all gone, and even with that my eyes still look as small, feel as heavy & not open as pre-op. Would my eyes open more @ 4-6 weeks? Or did my surgery fail and I now have under-correction? I'm concerned. Thanks!
Im 21 years old and after having my 3 year old daughter I noticed my eye was droopy and it stayed like that ..A week ago I got ptosis eye surgery and I dont see a diffrence my eye is still droopy is it normal because of the swelling.....thank you
