Since 18 years I have lumps under the eyes. I already had surgery at the left 10 years ago. It looks good, but I have a damage: I can not squint (lateral) Amazingly it is no problem. I want to get rid of the lumps at the right. But is there a way not to have muscle damage or nerve damage? What kind of damage do I have at the left?
I previously posted the attached photo and was advised to revisit my surgeon. I have now done this and been advised the lumps are feestons. I have been offered revision surgery. The revision will involve new incision either side of my eyes and a tightening of the skin. My question is: Does this sound a reasonable solution to correct the lump under my eye? I have been unable to find this type of procedure online as a means of correcting feestons. Thank you in advance for any response.
I had lower lid blepharoplasty in May 2022. The procedure was relatively successful. And corrected some fat prolapse post thyroid eye disease. I have since had one filler treatment for hollowing in the tear trough (Juvederm). This was approx 8 months ago. I have recently noticed lumps under my tear trough (photo). The questions: are these likely to be as a result of fat redisposition during blepharoplasty or do they look like filler residue? What are treatment options?
I had eyelid surgery about 8 months ago. Things were healing okay but I suddenly developed this bulge/lump about a month ago. The lump is not hard at all, its very soft but its gradually getting worse and worse to the point where I have to do something about it. Is this easy to fix? Does it have to be fixed surgically?
I got a blepharoplasty in October 2021 and the incision has healed well. Unfortunately, I now have these big lumps near my eyes. I also (stupidly) got brow fillers done at the end of December. I think the fillers must have transferred- I have some puffiness in my left eyelid and now my eyelids look uneven. Questions: 1. Are these lumps from the fillers or some fluid stuck in the eyelid area? 2. Is there a way I can get rid of the lumps? 3. My surgeon told me to use contractubex, would you agree?
Initial surgery performed transconjunctival both eyes. Revision to look for additional fat pads on outer lower area. Incision point corner of outside eye. Second surgery left incision scar. One steroid shot in each outer eye one month after second surgery. Note scars lines on both eyes. 6 months post op. Any expertise is appreciated on the lump in addition to the residual fullness in the lower third of my lower eyelids. Can the work be corrected?
It has been 12 days since my lower blepharoplasty. I'm 33 years old. After my stitches were removed we (PS and I) noticed a lump (ball) under my left eye in the area where the bag was removed. Will this go away with time? Will I need another surgery? And lastly, I heard a mix about massaging it...Will it help or hurt?
The lump is like a hardened blood clot or cyst. It may have been the result of a contusion or similar damage from a fall or strike to the area around the eye socket. It is a hard piece of something.
