I have lower eyelid retraction revealing scleral show and negative canthal tilt. My primary goal is to have my lower lid raised and for my tilt to go from negative to neutral I've attached pictures which show the issue. In the first 2 pics, my eyes are relaxed and as you can see, my eyes look downturned. In pics 3 and 4, I am squinting my eyes, and my eyes look a lot better that way. I have hooded eyes, but I don't want to do anything to make them not hooded.
Hello. Hoping a doctor can give me ideas for fixing skin folds that were created from lower transconjunctival Blepharoplasty, performed almost 3 yrs ago. Right eye has much more noticeable creases, then left eye. It seems everything was pulled so tight skin pulls away like a bellybuttons crease. Also left with blepharitis, tho not in this discussion. It seems deep tuck also caused moon pad on upper cheek. Im lopsided. So, laser or surgery? Help
Im very conscious about my eyes and I feel like they look very tired, with too much of an eyelid exposure and unevenness. I kind of get a trifold as well. Im considering an upper and lower bleph and maybe even a canthoplasty. Based on the photos, could I be a good candidate, and what type of surgery should I strive for?
A Board-certified, Ivy League-educated oculoplastic surgeon advised that he does not do fat pad repositioning for any patients. Period. He excises the fat pads, and if residual deficits remain, the patient can receive hyaluronic acid fillers. Can I please ask why, in 2024, a surgeon would be against repositioning? Is there still a body of evidence to suggest that it has a high complication rate?
I am 45 years old and have had fillers to increase volume in the mid face and improve the under eye 4years ago. Id like to do something that will last longer and help with eye hollowness, and dark circles, loss of mid face volume, and mid face sagging. Surgery seems to be the best option at this point. My question is what procedures would work best for my anatomy and concerns. Thanks!
Hello again, I had a consultation with a surgeon for a transconjuctival lower blepharoplasty. He suggested that I only do a fat removal and that fat repositionning is not a good idea. My main issue are the dark circles and pufiness. He said that shadows caused by the fat are the main reason for my dark circles and that removing around 70% of the fat should do the trick to fix my problem. Less fat=less shadows=better dark circles.I have an ex in the photos where i pull the skin. Is it enough?
I am 50 years old getting a lower facelift and want to address the lower eyes . I got one doctor saying a lower blethoplasty with fat reposition and another recommending periorbital fat injections. Im worried about fat injections but I dont see where a blethoplasty would works because I dont see fat pads to reposition on me. at the same time. What would be your recommendations
