3 months after upper blepharoplasty, scars are irritated and red, occasionally when squint - hurts a little. recently started itching..Problem is the my surgeon is in the States and I am back in the UK now. Need to find a solid advice as to how to make scars start fading and becoming more smooth, less textured. Please advise. Thank you.
I had upper and lower blepharoplasty about 10 years ago. I had a SMAS facelift 3 years ago. It's time to get my eyes done again. For me, the blepharoplasty surgery was really tough and the facelift was a walk in the park. When I had my eyes done 10 years ago, they itched during recovery. I had significant swelling and bruising. Is there anything I can do before hand to have an easier recovery? Of course I'll ask my doctor what he recommends but all recommendations are appreciated.
I had upper/lower bleph done 10 weeks ago today. I had some dry eye issues in the beginning which got better for awhile. I went to an opthamologist that said I had "reduced tearing" and told me to try drops a couple times a day. He said this should resolve over time - no other issues. He even looked under lid to make sure no stiches left behind. I have tried using 5 diff types of drops but all seem to make my eyes feel more irritated. I wear contacts appx 8 hours a day. I have tried drops for contacts (when in) as well as non-contact drops when wearing glasses. Nothing is helping! My eyes feel sticky, burning and have some red lines that weren't there before bleph. Why is this happening, how long will it last, and what can I do???
I had my upper eyelid surgery doe 35 days ago, my right eyelid remains swelling like sausage, pinkish, itchy below eye brow I observed there is not much improvement during the latest 2 weeks. During local anesthetic surgery for this eye, I felt sharp pain for a few seconds, i screamed and thought my eyeball was being pulled out. I did not know what the surgeon did on me during that time. Is the operation considered failure?
