Around 1 month ago I was having issues with my eye. It was watering, very sensitive & my eyelid was less open than usual. I went to see a specialist & they removed 3 ingrown eye lashes. Soon after this, the watering issues etc went away. My eyelid has opened up a bit more, but has not returned to how it was , making it slightly droopy , which was never like this before. Do you know why this could be? Or how long before eyelid returns to normal position..?
3 months after upper blepharoplasty, scars are irritated and red, occasionally when squint - hurts a little. recently started itching..Problem is the my surgeon is in the States and I am back in the UK now. Need to find a solid advice as to how to make scars start fading and becoming more smooth, less textured. Please advise. Thank you.
As a result I have now lower eyelid retraction and rounding of my right eye. It is noticeable in some pictures and not in others, more when I look up. I could live with this, as Im afraid of more surgery BUT my right eye gets irritated during the day and teary when I sleep. Do I need another surgery? Im posting pictures where the issue is noticeable, with and without makeup. What do you recommend?
Had upper eyelid surgery September 26 was on clindomycin for five days, and bacitracin optical ointment to put in eyes and on lids seemed to have an allergic reaction eyes very irritated. I stopped using it after seven days and felt better Dr removed the rest today, gave me script for neo/poly/Dexter for lids they now look red swollen and bumpy what should I do?
I had surgery on the chalazion on my right bottom eyelid 4 years ago. The surgeon had to remove it mostly from the outside. This left me with scar tissue. It is easily irritated as it is sensitive. The scar itself has a red colour to it and has a small dent where the Chaka Zion was.
Following surgery there was a space between the eyeball and lateral canthus, plus the lower eyelid was lax and didn't hug the eyeball. The eyes were dry/irritating. I underwent bilateral canthopexy abroad. 2,5-3 weeks after surgery the laxity of the eyelid and the space between the eyeball and canthus are still the same: there is little difference. The eyes are still irritating/dry. I'm worried - difficult to get a response from the surgeon after I left his country. Will this improve with time?
i asked dermatologist about this problem and she said that I have an extra skin fold and that I should keep it dry . i have tried that., she also told me I could use a cream she prescribed for eczema skin issues. i thought perhaps Monistat cream may help since I reasoned it may be like a yeast infection. Any other suggestions? I am unable to wear eye shadow and when it flares up which is pretty always there is a crease of red irritated itchy skin
I received a lower blepharoplasty 3 days ago. The first few days that was very minimal swelling and bruising. Yesterday my eyes were almost completely swollen shut. My incisions are bright red and hurt very bad. I have been taking all medication as prescribed and doing cold compresses all throughout the day. I am due to be married May 1st and my doctor told me I had plenty of time to heal before then. I am worried I have an infection and or something is wrong. Help please !
I have dark circles under my eyes (according to my mother I was born with them), I also have very small eyes. I would like to have lasik so I no longer have to wear glasses, but I am embarrassed about the state of my eyes. Is eye surgery a good option for me? Also, the lacrimal gland in my right eye was removed about 9 years ago and so that eye does not produce any tears and is constantly dry and irritated, will the affect my ability to have surgery?
