My eye shape has gone from almond to tired and droopy after a lower bleph. The surgeon said that she created a knot in the corner of the eye to prevent retraction and that with massage it will go away in a year (first she said a month, then 3 months but kept extending it). My eyes are different shapes, are droppy and have unsightly scar tissue near the corner, will this actually heal or do I need to get a revision.
I'm 39 and have almond eyes and some positive canthal tilt. I have high broad cheekbones and prominent brow ridge. My eyes have become more hooded with the years but doesn't bother me as I read is a good feature in men. My concern is lower eyelid. I've always had dark circles probably from genetics and allergy. I wanted to know if I would see an improvement from blepharoplasty or is not worth it in my case. I barely have fine lines I think
I am a transgender person, my eye shape is affecting my self esteem a lot. I had an orbital decompression surgery 3 years ago which really helped with the bulging. But then I had a blepharoplasty to make my eyes more delicate but it actually ended up making the eyelids less symmetrical and the corners sort of pitched giving the eye a smaller shape and less of the almond shape which I wanted. Id like to know how much this simulation could be possible please
Hi doctors. What kind of surgery would I need for lifted eyes. I can only find things about thread lifts, which I'm not interested in because of complications, and it doesn't last. I see surgery for sagging skin over the eyes. I don't have sagging skin, but I do have droopy eyelids and also the under eye is droopy. Thank you in advance!
So in essence I dislike the upper eyelid exposure and the general largeness, and protrusion of the eyes. Is it possible to achieve more of an almond/hooded deeper set eyes as akin to the morph. I believe I have levator disinsertion/ptosis as denoted by the extra upper eyelid crease. Can correction thereof in conjunction with a blepharoplasty, tighten the eyelids remove the extra crease and lower the upper eyelid crease? Could it also expose more of the preaponeurotic fat? Im mixed race half white/half ethic, idw to hear its just your race
Which option is better? Combination of : Upper Blepharoplasty + canthoplasty + direct brow lift(tail) OR combination of temporal lift + cheek lift to change eyes and brows shape??? Or what is the best option for me? I'm 26 y.o.
I don't know if that is the right surgery, but I would like to look natural, masculine, attractive and young: 1-Negative canthal tilt - correction from negative to neutral 2-Ptosis correction - left eye 3-Reduce eyelid exposure on top and bottom. If possible, reduce overall frog eyes skin on both 4-Reduce eye bags. Red. dark circles with injections 5-On eyebrows: minoxidil and maybe transplant. Soft browlift, combined with symmetry correction, reversing negative tilt to a neutral angle
2 ptosis repairs, 2nd time he did almond eye procedure &did not achieve results I want I think I would have been closer to results I want with a below the lid implant. He does them so Im not sure why he didnt recommend that instead.
