Some crusties have been falling off when I wash the recipient area but sometimes there is a hair attached to it. I dont think its a graft because its very small and there is no bleeding but if I instead pulled out a graft I am about a week post op.
Ok now im freaking out i have an eyebrow transplant exactly a week ago today was my follow up and dr couldnt give me a complete explanation on how my eyebrows are going to heal i think they look too harsh too thick too dark but i dont know if is too soon yo tell or maybe there are going to soften a little im really worried my husband and friends told me that they look too bold for my face is it too soon too tell or they are going to look like that all the time i seven days post op
Its been 8 days since my transplant I wash my brows twice a day with warm water and baby shampoo. My eye brows have been itchy the whole day and i lightly pat it. Theres clumps falling off some are dry blood and others arnt but all the clumps have quite a few hairs stuck to them. Are my grafts still there or is there damage caused.
I went to see my doctor regarding my concerns and was assured my eyebrows are healing normally. But based on photos Ive seen of others brows they look far more normal/healed than mines. I am terrified that something went terribly wrong and I cant tell if the scabs fell off or if my skin has been altered or scarred. Any advice will be helpful.
I have ulerythema ophryogenes and because of that I had a eyebrow transplant done 7 days ago. Now I never knew until yesterday that minoxidil actually could regrow the lost eyebrow hair (even in people with this condition) and they would be permanent and not lost. What I would like to know is can I regrow the dormant follicles and kill the transplanted follicles to regrow my real eyebrows. I really wish I had tried this before the transplant sigh. Method used was FUE ( 500 to both eyebrows).
Had an eyebrow transplant one week ago. I realize it's too early for results but the shapes are completely different. One eyebrow is much shorter and arched and it looks odd at times. Swelling has subsided so I don't think Its due to that. One week out I have bloody, crusty scabs which makes it even more distracting. My grafts are very short, almost spikey, with the scab over it like a little red dot. Again, just looking for assurance on what's normal. It's got me a little nervous.
Had eyebrow transplant recently done I'm now in day five and gently washed the area without rubbing with baby shampoo as instructed,I noticed when I walked with shampoo it wasn't tingly and I could see the raised holes from where the hair, I'm African American and my brows still look really dark compared to others eyebrows on seen at day five, when will my eyebrows scab up and fall off and start to get lighter again
