After searching for about one year and multiple consultations with different plastic surgeon, I chose Dr Zayad from the moment of my phone consultation until the day I traveled all the way from Chicago to Florida. I felt I had made the best decision for me. He is a very talented surgeon and cares about his patience. He is a perfectionist and a very skilled surgeon. His team were very and answered any questions I had. I am beyond happy with my results.
I am very happy with the results of my procedure. Dr. Zyiad is skilled in his profession and took his time to attend to my questions. I appreciate his staff and their care before and after my procedure.
Amazing Results and Exceptional Care from Dr. Ziyad and His Team After losing 137 lbs and researching surgeons across the U.S., I chose Dr. Ziyad at Sunset Plastic Surgery for a tummy tuck with muscle repair, breast lift with implants, and fat transfer to my hip dips. From start to finish, the experience exceeded my expectations! The office is peaceful, and his staff made me feel completely comfortable. Dr. Ziyad was incredibly kind, transparent, and honest about what to expect, especially with my breast augmentation due to my thin tissue. He even offered a complimentary upgrade to cohesive implants if they suited my frame better, showing how much he truly cares about his patients. Surgery went smoothly, and my post-op care was just as impressive. Dr. Ziyad took his time answering all my questions and never made me feel rushed. Even when I had a small health scare a week post-op, he FaceTimed me after surgery hours to ensure I was okay. The results are absolutely incredible—better than I ever imagined. Dr. Ziyad’s talent, dedication, and compassion make him one of the best surgeons out there. If you’re considering plastic surgery, I 100% recommend him and his amazing team!
My 2nd time around coming to see Dr. Ziyad! This time traditional Brachioplasty. From post op day 1 I was in awe! I cant believe these are my Arms! I am so greatful for Dr. Ziyad and his team. I can't rave more about this man and his work. He has given me a body I could have only dreamed of. He is truly a freaking god! But stays the most humble man. I love him and his team and would recommend him to absolutely everyone
Dr. Hammoudeh is amazing! He is kind, professional and really takes the time to talk with his patients and answer questions. I am 10 weeks post op extended TT with muscle repair and lipo to abdomen and flanks. I am seriously blown away by my results and cannot even begin to express how grateful I am to the incredible surgical team!
Dr Ziyad is definitely the goat!!! I traveled from Big Island Hawaii to have surgery and I would do it all over again 1000% Couldn't be happier with my results!!!! My first surgery I had a super combo which consisted of a thigh lift, posterior lift, mini tummy tuck (tummy tuck revision) lipo to abs/flanks and a labiaplasty. Second time I had a thigh lift revision. Dr Ziyad did nothing wrong the first time around, but after my results settled, I had some inner thigh fat/skin I was not happy with which he removed, now I have a thigh gap!!!!
I will grateful for my whole life to the doctor ziyad and his team for my experience. I had my mommy makeover and it was the smoothest recovery and calming journey And the results its amazing Thank you so much
Dr. Ziyad is the best!! I had the most amazing experience with him and his team throughout this entire process of before, during, and after surgery. I will be referring all of my friends and family to him. Thank you Dr. Z and Sunset Plastic Surgery!
I had a tummy tuck with muscle repair, a small hernia repair, and lipo to the abdomen/hips/flanks. In researching surgeons, I was drawn to his natural style and also his price. But I reached out to others, and his staff responded the fastest, was the kindest, and extremely helpful through the entire experience. I also will say it was such a blessing finding such a skilled surgeon who would do drainless TT's because it was biggest aversion to the surgery otherwise. I was lucky I found such an amazing surgeon in the city where I live, but I can absolutely see why people travel to have their surgeries done by him. The day of the surgery I went in, was taken back on time, saw the anesthesiologist, Dr. Mike, who was incredible and kind and always made me feel completely at ease. I can say the same for Dr. Ziyad. I will say I did feel a little disconnect in a sense, that maybe I was just another patient, because never felt like he tried much for any real personal connection...but that's not a bad thing I guess. I justify it by him being a very busy and excellent surgeon. He owed me nothing but kindness, respect, and skill..and he checked all those boxes! He was always kind, looked me in the eye when he spoke and when I spoke, he smiled and always reassured me that he could fulfill what I was looking for. After my surgery I felt rushed out of the facility but I was so groggy and ready to get home and just move forward so that didn't bother me as much as it might have bothered others. Every follow up appointment was good, and even though he did several via video call, because I was local, when I had any concerns and asked to come in, he was always more than willing to see me. I had a small opening in my incision that took nearly 3 months to close but he never made me feel that I was over-reacting, I always trusted his insight, suggestions, and he kept my anxiety at bay...and of course he was right. Every time he suggested something, I took his advice, and it would go exactly as he said it would. He told me how to take care of it at home, keep it clean, he gave me preventative antibiotics to avoid infections, and though it was a slow process, it all healed just as he said it would in it's own time. I can't say enough how important it was to have a surgeon who was direct but kind, reassuring and confident, and never brushed off my concerns even when I had them and he didn't. That attitude toward his patients is 100% why he will ALWAYS have my trust and referrals in the future. And my results are just what I hoped for, and I even lost some weight after and they look even better now. I have never felt so comfortable with my body. I can't say enough good things about my experience with Dr. Ziyad. If and when I need any other maintenance or other procedures, I will never call anyone else. Ever.
Dr. Ziyad’s results speak for themselves. He’s a gifted plastic surgeon and his results are transformative. I’m two weeks post-op and already pleased with my results and I still have a ways to go to see my final results. I appreciate Dr. Ziyad always responded to my husband either by calling to talk or by text to ease his concerns post-op. I would choose him over and over again and highly recommend to family and friends.
There are several factors that affect bruising following rhinoplasty. Two factors that are uncontrollable are how easily your body bruises in general and the maneuvers the surgeon performed during the rhinoplasty. For instance, moving the nasal bones tends to cause more bruising around the lower eyelids than a tip only rhinoplasty. To minimize bruising, there a few things you can do to help. This starts preoperatively by avoiding any substances that could increase bleeding during surgery such as aspirin or herbal medications. After surgery, be sure to ice really well and keep your head elevated to reduce swelling. You can eat pineapple, take Arnica pills, and apply Arnica cream. Some people believe these help, but there is not strong evidence in terms of scientific studies that prove this. The good thing is that all bruising resolves with time. Most patients have complete resolution of bruising by 1 - 2 weeks after surgery. Following trauma to the nose, the signs of a broken nose include immediate bleeding, swelling, bruising around the eyes, tenderness to palpation, deviation of the nose to one side when it was previously straight, or collapse of the nasal bridge when severe. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing. Not all of these signs and symptoms may be present, but when it is not immediately obvious and they persist beyond the first few days, a broken nose should definitely be suspected. A broken nose can include fracture of the nasal bones or damage to the cartilage support of the nose. The only way to know for sure is with an in-person examination. It is important to rule out a septal hematoma, or collection of blood around the septum that can destroy the septal cartilage, with intranasal examination. Additional imaging studies such as a CT scan may be performed to look for other facial fractures or head injury protocol and can allow easily visibility of fractures in the nasal bones. When diagnosed early, a closed reduction under anesthesia can be performed on the nasal bones to set them in place. This is typically performed in the first week because after 2 weeks the bones have undergone substantial healing in their new fractured position. Even when a closed reduction is performed, the correction may not be complete, and a substantial portion of these patients end up electing to have a rhinoplasty down the road after complete healing has taken place. I hope this helps to more readily identify the signs and symptoms of a broken nose when it occurs. In certain patients that have a hump and a low radix (valley between the eyes) and small tip, a non-surgical (liquid) rhinoplasty can be performed. That involves placement of filler above and below the hump in those low points to camouflage the hump so that the hump does not look as prominent. This can make the nose look more attractive in those patients, but it does not make the nose smaller. In fact, it actually makes the nose bigger because you are adding substance to the nose rather than taking anything away, so it can never be smaller. In addition, hyaluronic acid fillers such as Juvederm or Restylane are temporary, requiring repeated treatments that can actually become more expensive than a surgical rhinoplasty over time. A surgical rhinoplasty has the advantage of being able to make the nose smaller, change the shape, and improve breathing with a permanent effect. I would recommend consulting with a surgeon well versed in rhinoplasty that understands the full spectrum of nasal aesthetics from nonsurgical to surgical to allow for more specific recommendations. If you consult with someone who does not offer surgical rhinoplasties, you are less likely to get surgery recommended for you when it may be the best option. Therefore, I would recommend always seeing a board-certified plastic surgeon for all of your aesthetic concerns that can make any recommendations from head to toe from least to most invasive, including surgery. Removal of a nasal hump is a very common component of a rhinoplasty. Sometimes this involves moving the nasal bones inward to make the nose narrower to achieve a more ideal shape, but not always. People often use the term "breaking" the nasal bones, but this is not an accurate representation of what is performed surgically. "Breaking" sounds like a gruesome, uncontrolled move that scares patients. In surgery, the nasal bones are moved inward with precisely controlled bone cuts using an instrument called an osteotome. Repositioning of the bones can cause some additional bruising in the lower eyelids but does not add substantial pain to the recovery. Therefore, you would not want to avoid repositioning the bones if you would benefit from that maneuver. I would recommend an in-person consultation with a surgeon well versed in rhinoplasty to allow for a thorough physical exam of your nose to make more specific recommendations. I typically advise my patients that they can return to exercising, flying on an airplane, and resuming sexual activity after their nasal splint is removed at 1 week after rhinoplasty. After splint removal, you are well on your way to a smooth recovery. At that point, the most important factor in your healing is avoiding any trauma to your nose. These are general guidelines, as every surgeon has different preferences, so I recommend discussing with your surgeon regarding his/her specific preferences for returning to these activities. Good communication between patient and surgeon is very important both before and after surgery.
