After two Ellacor treatments, here are my results and opinions: • Neck - Nice results, less drooping of skin • Jaw Line - Some improvement, tighter skin • Jowls - Some improvement but would need a third session to see results Helpful Information: • Need at least a week to 10-days to heal and be able to go out. Definitely clear your calendar. Plan the procedure with this in mind. • Procedure is noisy with the machine thumping. After numbing there may be some minor discomfort in some areas. • The philtrum/upper lip is quite painful to treat even with an abundance of numbing. So be prepared. • After care was simple. No pain or need for Tylenol. Used a towel on pillow for the petrolatum; had oozing the first night. • Healing is individual and varies with age, health and lifestyle; take that into account. I healed quickly and had no pain. • Residual redness occurred and has been treated with Vbeam/Pulsed Dye Laser. Reasons I chose Ellacor over cosmetic surgery: • Less expensive • Minimally invasive • No general anesthesia risks • Older and not medically cleared for surgery • Less anxiety having an office procedure than surgery WILL POST AGAIN WITH AFTER PHOTOS
Discussed the merits of having the Softwave treatment on my face with Dr. Bae. She was very clear that it is a temporary procedure that lasts a year. I still went ahead with it, although I am not a fan of temporary treatments. My curiosity made me proceed. The procedure is comfortable, no pain, no down time but do not plan to repeat it.
Anything that will treat fat under the chin and jowls has my interest. There was subtle improvement and I was happy with that. Enhancing procedures that are non-invasive and painless are a wonderful option to have. I just booked my next appointment. Updated on 12 Jan 2024: Cool Mini results take two to three months to fully realize. At two months, there is already some improvement in the appearance of the under neck area, less hanging skin. I am pleased with that correction.
You just know when it's time to do a little work on those eyelids. Dr. Bae took the time to go over surgical and non-surgical options. Choosing Fraxel CO2 Laser for the eyelids was the perfect option for me. It was a surprisingly quick procedure. Healing was easy to manage with a pair of sunglasses to hide any redness.
A lifetime of pesky sun spots were there for all to see...on my face, neck, chest hands and arms. Dr. Bae performed Fraxel Dual Laser on these areas and poof...gone. Simple procedure, easy, comfortable and quick. Was well worth it.
As soon as you go in to see Dr. Bae, she immediately puts your mind at ease. I have never met a doctor who cared so much about her patients. Her work is impeccable. Such a great experience being her patient.
I saw Dr. Yoon-Soo Cindy Bae for a cosmetic consultation for filler, botox, and kybella injections. Her professionalism and knowledgeable consultation eased any nervousness I had and I was comfortable enough to want to get my injections done that same day! Over the course of my appointments with Dr. Bae I was able to do all three of these treatments. Not only did I see results right away, but I had an wonderful experience! Following Dr. Bae's recommendation, I was able to use topical numbing cream for my filler injections, which really cut down most of the discomfort from the injections themselves. I recommend everyone to go see Dr. Bae for cosmetic derm or medical derm! Her sincerity will blow you away and you'll get an amazing treatment!
I had a wonderful experience with Dr Bae. She is honest and considerate. I loved my result after having filler done. Especially to my lips she was very careful as I was concerned about having "duck" lips. They came out perfect. I would highly recommend her.
My experience with dr. Bae was amazing the entire staff in your office we're so attentive and kind and respectful and very professional. Bae is the nicest doctor i have meet in new York city she really takes the time to explain the procedures and to answer any questions you may have I had kybella done at her office I had a little saggy skin underneath my chin that was bothering me and i work in the beauty industry so i have always look camara ready . she told me about revolutionary new treatment called kybella so I said let me give it a try, and I must say kybella is incredible it really tightend up my skin under my chin after a few treatments i am super happy with my results I feel more confident I highly recommend this treatment to all my friends and to anyone interested thanks Doctor Bae you rock .. Sincerely Josh Galarza..
Neuromodulators like botox are great for treating the masseter muscle as it can dramatically change the shape of your face without having to undergo surgery. As others have responded, I too agree that you should try botox first because you may be happy with the results saving time, money, energy, recovery period, etc.Best of luck.
When treating with infini, typically you need a series of treatments... so I would not exhaust that possibility from just one treatment. There are other laser modalities you can try including fractionated lasers (ablative and non ablative) as well as picosecond lasers.Based on the pictures, I would categorize the scarring as ice pick scars. TCA cross is a great option, but multiple treatments are needed.I do not think you have rolling scars based on the close up picture you provided. Therefore, I do not think you would respond to subcision. It may be more helpful to see a dermatologist specializing in acne and laser surgery for consultation.I hope this helps.
Theses are called cherry angiomas and can be safely and effectively treated with laser without leaving a mark.I recommend seeing a fellowship trained procedural dermatologist for consultation and treatment.
I recommend laser surgery to blend the edges (erbium or fractional laser) and to help with the color (pulsed dye laser). You may need multiple treatments, but it will definitely help.
I would recommend laser surgery which will help blend the edges so it diminishes the appearance of the scar. These include erbium and fractional lasers. The color (pink/red) will fade with time, but that can also be treated with a laser to make it less apparent.
