Dr. Barnavon & he's staff was great with me I really will Recommend him to anyone. I am happy with my Results my surgery was done on 8/16/2023 @ Memorial Regional Hospital .My experience was great pain was not bad @ all.
Breast Reduction + lift from a 34DD to 34C. Drains for 7 days. My surgery last 4h. After surgery, I really felt like crap, woke up nauseous and with a lot of pain. I had to stay at the hospital for 24h it was great because they could manage my pain with "morphine". You may feel sore for 2 to 4 weeks. You also may feel pulling, stretching and shooting pain. I felt a lot of burning on my left breast. Although you may need pain medicine for a week or two, you can expect to feel better and stronger each day. I was free from back, shoulders and neck pain instantly. No regrets it was the best decision ever!
Let first start off by saying I was never in the market to have reconstruction surgery. But when faced with having a mastectomy you want to know what options are available. I went to see 2 different plastic surgeons and almost gave up hope on ever having a normal body again. I am eternally grateful to my breast surgeon Dr. Health Wright who referred me to Dr. Barnavon’s office. The office staff were friendly but smart I never had to repeat any information once told they got it! Now that’s a real concept hire people that actually know what they are doing. Each staff member has a specific task so you are not ever given half information or told I don’t know. Dr. Barnavon explain the traditional options and was comfortable with an immediate implant which was something no other surgeon was even willing to consider. He also had an option that would use my own fat tissue with minimal invasion. I felt he was not only skilled but artfully talented. I have now nicknamed him my Dr. Picasso. He give me hope and desire to move forward with my mastectomy knowing my Picasso would be stepping in to save the day making me whole and beautiful again.
I am very active and healthy but having a baby and breastfeeding at 39 ruined my breast shape. I had 2 procedures: the 1st one in november 2016 (lift and fat transfer) and the 2nd one in february 2017 (lift correction and fat transfer). I was a bit disappointed after the 1st procedure (the right breast was smaller and lower than the left one) but Dr Barnavon did an excellent job for the 2nd round and i am now very happy. After wearing no bra for 6 months (forbiden by my surgeon for 3 months after each procedure) i can now wear nice bras, bikini,... Each time i could restart to exercise pretty soon after the surgery (3 weeks 1st time, 2 weeks 2nd time), what is a big plus because running especially is part of my life.
Dr. Barnavon came highly recommended to me by my oncological surgeon, who said "he is a perfectionist". His office is beautiful, office staff friendly, efficient and caring and Dr. Barnavon himself could not have been more caring and patient - explaining all of my reconstruction options in great detail. We finally agreed on what was best for me, and surgery was scheduled and coordinated with my oncological sirgeon. I had a lumpectomy and oncoplastic reduction and lift just 3 days ago. I went home the next day and I have no pain, just a little soreness, but have not needed the pain meds that were prescribed at discharge. Dr. Barnavon spent a great deal of time with me before surgery, marking me up. I could tell he is a perfectionist! From what I can see (I am taped), I am going to be thrilled with the result. I absolutely recommend Dr. Barnavon without hesitation - in fact, I would not go to anyone else.
Ok so my scary ass made it to the other side yayyyy!!!! I went in at memorial regional, nice place very welcoming environment the ladies was awesome and Hana was great???? got marked up and then all I remember was waking up to my family, I will upload pics asap I'm just pretty sore as hell right now, I have 2 drains from each breast. I went down to a D cup, the pain level from 1-10 would be a 4 it's only because these damn drains are irritating and painful if you pull on them by accident and I've noticed when I urinate it burns a little I'm not sure if it's the medications or so but I'm not complaining I'm greatfull and blessed to have made it out safely that's all I wanted.. Thank goodness!!!!! Updated on 10 Apr 2017: So I wrote a few reviews before, and here is some pictures Im uploading to show you guys the results of theseventeen babies, I am very much satisfied with the results Im very thankful and bless Updated on 1 Jul 2017: I love them, though I still feel there still too big but hey as long as there even I'm ok:)
Dr. Barnavon has been exceptionally easy to deal with and talented. My 6 1/2 hour surgery was uneventful and I experienced no pain, and only minor discomfort for a couple of days afterword -- much less than anticipated. He came to me highly recommended by physicians I trust, and the results so far have met my (admittedly high) expectations. He explained the process I would undergo in advance and did not hide anything, anticipated many of my questions, and patiently answered the questions I did have. In sum, I made the right decision by selecting Dr. Barnavon and strongly recommend he and his staff to anyone considering his office.
Dr. Barnovan and staff are wonderful! My cancer surgery left me disfigured and I felt unattractive. Dr. Barnovan listened to what I wanted and my comfort level. In fact, it took me 18 months to make a decision to move forward with corrective surgery because I was still nervous about my cancer recurring. He was patient and understanding and helped me reconstruct my breast using the methods that I was comfortable with and I can now wear clothes with confidence am feel so much better about my appearance.
the office staff were kind and courteous and Dr Barnavon explained the entire procedure and made our whole experience less stressful. Dr. Barnavon was very patient and thorough. We would recommend the office and staff to anyone we come in contact with. Do not waste your time with any other doctor, trust me this doctor is excellent.-Tiffany
Dr. Barnovon proved to be a man of high status and reputation. I have always been impressed with his skills and how he timely responds to his patients. He offers suggestions and help you make the most informed decisions about your situation. I also must give accolades to the nurse that greeted me and worked so diligently with me especially during my critical time. Additionally, I appreciated how he communicated with my ortho doctor when needed. I appreciate their professionalism and the work..--SLB
Hello and thanks for your question. Often times both procedures are done together depending the amount of (ptosis) or sagging/drooping a person has. The procedure can be done outpatient but you may want to check with your insurance to see if they cover a bilateral breast reduction surgery. Some or all of the surgery maybe covered. Seek a board certified plastic surgeon who has experience with this type of procedure.
Women do not need an MRI after Breast Augmentation unless there is fear of a rupture, leak or the implant is causing excessive pain or discomfort. With new digital imaging a woman can have a mammogram with implants.
Fat transfer is a good option for you and can be permanent if done correctly. My average cost to do this procedure is about $3500.00 and can be done under sedation.
Wait at least 6 months before revising and yes this procedure can be done under local since there is not an abundant amount of tissue to remove.
Yes, you seem to be a good candidate but you would need to be seen in person and require a medical clearance before surgery .
