I had Lipo on my upper and lower abdomen, flanks, back, bra line and inner thighs on May 7, 2021. It's only been two weeks so I'm still swollen so it's still too early to see the full results. I definitely have more of a waist now and my tummy area seems to be a bit flatter. My back area looks better already. The thighs are still too swollen to see any results yet. The whole process with Dr. Kate was wonderful! She has the sweetest bedside manner and really knows what a woman wants and needs when it comes to Plastic surgery. She never over sold any possible results and was very honest in what to expect during and after the procedure. The day of the surgery, I was a bit nervous and every single one of her team was so calming and caring. She really has surrounded herself with an amazing team. The day after my surgery, I received a follow up call to see how I was doing, everything was going smoothly. The pain was tolerable and I was already at my desk working in my home office. She was so sweet and gave me her cellphone number so that I could reach her if need be. I just had my follow up visit today and had my sutures removed. Everything looks like its healing well with no problems at all. She is so detailed that she mentioned that one of my areas may have been a bit more stubborn to remove and that we should reassess it in 6 months. She said she will correct it in the office if needed. I never had to point this area out to her, she noticed it on her own and planned a course of action. She truly is a perfectionist and knows what she is doing when sculpting a body. I am posting some images of before and some images that were taken days after the procedure. The bruising looks so much worse than it felt but it definitely got me extra special treatment at home from my husband since it looked like it did :). I will post after images in the next couple of weeks. I would like some of the swelling to go down before I post more images. I highly recommend Dr. Kate. If you are on the fence about doing this procedure, my only regret is that I should have done this sooner. I can't imagine how wonderful I would have felt in my own skin had I done this in my 40's versus my mid 50's. I would have had so much more time to enjoy my new shape. Updated on 28 May 2021: I thought I should post some pics post op. These are cellphone pics taken 2 weeks after Lipo. There is still bruising and a lot of swelling (especially around my waist and abdomen). Other than that, I feel great! I'm looking forward to working out again and finally seeing the results. It was so difficult to see results before because of the thickness of my belly and waist. After three kids and menopause, I never thought I would have a flatter tummy. It may never be completely flat but I never expected that, I just wanted a better version of me. I'm so happy that I did this! Thank you Dr. Kate!
