Hello, I had big interest in rhinoplasty. When I take photo, it was stressful because my face didn’t look fine as I expected. The cause of my stress was my nose every time I look at the mirror because it was low and wide. So I had expectation on nice-looking nose shape. Then I decided to do rhinoplasty after I got to know MIHO Plastic Surgery and got consultation with trustworthy doctors. They are famous among Koreans for eye surgery and rhinoplasty. Doctors are only consisted of plastic surgery specialists with board-certified, and there were doctors in charge of each part, so It was systematic and professional. I visited the hospital according to my reservation schedule, got CT test, and got systematic consultation with a doctor. There was a fluent translator, so I was comfortable with language. Director Won-il Sohn is a plastic surgeon and had abundant experience in rhinoplasty, so he gave me specific and systematic consultation by looking into my nose. He asked me if I brought reference photo, but I told him that I want to operate surgery by recommendation. I decided to believe him and his recommendation because he had abundant experiences and famous for eye surgery and rhinoplasty. My complex was low bridge and wide area of nose, and I decided to operate surgery by using implant to make my bridge and tip of the nose higher so that it looks good in photo based on CT test. And I decided to cut the nose bone because I had wide nose bone, and to make nose width shorter naturally. A day before the surgery, I couldn’t sleep because of nervousness and expectation. So I went to MIHO Plastic Surgery with my expectation of getting nice nose faster. I made doctor one more time to have enough consultation and designed my nose then I went to operating room. The operating room was very wide, modern, and clean. There was an anesthesia specialist. I breathed several times then fell asleep. After sleeping well, I opened my eyes and then everything was done. I opened my eyes with the voice of director whispering “operation is well done.”, and moved to recovery room with help of nurses and a translator. After I put ice pack and took a rest for an hour, I got ice pack and prescription after checking my condition. I bought medicine at a pharmacy on the first floor of the building, took a texi, came back home, took a rest, ate some bread, took medicine, did ice pack, and took a rest for the rest of the day. It was uncomfortable because I had to breathe by my mouth as there was cotton inside my nose to stop bleeding, and it was not hurt at all because of the painkiller in medicine. But this uncomfortable feeling was done for a day. I visited hospital on the second day because I also got osteotomy surgery. (If you don’t get breaking bone surgery, you come to hospital for treatment.) I removed cotton inside my nose and checked whether there’s more bleeding or bleeding is well stopped. And I checked whether operation part was fine, got a treatment, and met a doctor. Getting a treatment was not hurt at all. But it felt little bit sore. I was happy because I could breathe well after removing cotton inside my nose. Getting treatment was nothing after removing cotton inside the nose. I got antibiotics and swelling care, and got laser treatment as an after-care and came back home. Treatment and after-care took about an hour on the first day. I could get comfortable treatment because the director and translator took care of me well. I visited again because I had treatment schedule. I got disinfection and scar treatment of operation part, and got a check. I finished treatment after after-care. It was easy to breathe and nothing was hurt or uncomfortable, so I went to Garosu-gil and had lunch and did shopping after I got out of the hospital. I had a cast on my nose but nobody cared. I had a good time with shopping and then came back to home. Today was the day removing all the stitches and cast. Stitch removal was operated quickly. Stitches on visible part were removed, and stitches inside my nose was melting stitches so no need to remove. I met Dr. Sohn and he said that my nose can be looked a bit high at the tip of the nose because of swelling, but it will go down and get better like the design as times goes by. Nose width was shortened naturally that was fitted my face portion. I had operational mark little bit but doctor said it would be fine after 6 month as scars get better. Swelling got much better. I could wash my face with care and I could apply sunscreen. I could go back to my daily life after removing cast and stitches. There was swelling little bit but surgery was indistinguishable. I was surprised by the faster speed of recovery than I expected. Surgery was successful and I admired and liked every time when I look in the mirror. There was still swelling, So I wanted to see my final nose shape as swelling gets better. Swelling got better much faster and surgery was indistinguishable, so it seemed well settled naturally. I wanted a natural nose shape and surgery went well as I expected so I was very satisfied.
