10 days post op

I am planning on a new me! The same me really. I just need the outside to reflect the inside. I am turning 35 the day of surgery. I have 3 beautiful children, 10,5 and 2. I have been happily married for 13 years. My hubby is very supportive and has danced the line of support without the overzelousness of a man that wants bigger boobs on his wife. It's been a nice dance he's done. Anyways I'm getting a Full Tummy Tuck, breast enlargement with out the lift and lipo. I'm scared but I know this will be well worth the money, pain and time.Updated on 25 Jul 2012:Ok. So I am trying to pick a size I would like my implants to be. At my appointment I tried on 625-700 cc. But I can't seem to visualize them on me. Not to mention that they just look huge and heavy. ( the sample implants for sizing). So here is a little about me. I am 175 now hoping to be 165 and 5' 7" tall at surgery. I have wide shoulders, deflated B cup and a sporty build. I would like to be a D cup when all is said and done. How does that convert into CC's??? I do not want huge [RS bleep] star boobs. Those are for some women out there but I do t have the personality or patients for them. Happy days ahead!!! Fast recovery for the brave!!Updated on 20 Sep 2012:So, I had my surgery on my 35th birthday and wouldn't want it any other way. I had 545cc in RB and 605cc if LB. They look a little lopsided at the moment buy I have faith that my surgon did what was best for me. I had a full TT and Lipo of flanks. I love love love my new belly button. I am so excited about the results. I do have questions tho. How long do I wear the CG and do I have to wear it around the clock. Also I seem to have very stiff skin from the combo lipo/TT how long does that last? Is it from swelling? I love Dr. Staggers, he does great work. I will post pic's soon!

Tired of Feeling Heavy - Fairhope, AL

I am scheduled for my explant tomorrow. Feeling a little nervous, but mostly after having read the stories here, excited to be natural again. I am 46 and had the original implants in 2001. They were saline under the muscle. They always just felt too big. A friend took a picture of me last year and it looked like I had two basketballs in my bra. I had a revision last June to go smaller and I am just not happy. I can feel them all of the time. They are still too big and they hurt my shoulders and neck. I am sure they will sag, but they sag now with the implants. I am scheduled for 8:15 am tomorrow, local anesthesia (that's how we did the revision also) it should be over and done by 10:00. I am really looking forward to not being aware of my breasts all to the time. The left implant rubs and I am always conscious that they are there. Updated on 1 Jun 2012: Surgery went well. Actually went back to work the next day. I am loving the way I look. Yes they sag a little and they aren't as full on top, but that's what push up bras are for. My tops look so much better and my bathing suits don't look obscene any more. I feel sexier now than I did with implants. Best decision I ever made. No regrets at all. Bonus is I haven't had an allergy problem since they came out, have not had to take a Zyrtec in two days. My chronic neck ache is gone and the grooves in my shoulders are already getting less visible. Updated on 7 Jun 2012: A little over one week post explant and things are going well. After the surgery I noticed that my breasts were a little concave on the sides, that has already "fluffed". I am really pleased with the outcome. My clothes fit better, I actually get to wear cute tops and being able to button a blazer without the buttons pulling was a bonus :). The best thing is my neck and shoulders no longer hurt at the end of the day, and the grooves in my shoulders are already starting to disappear. Best decision I ever made, so happy to be me. Updated on 6 Jul 2012: 6 weeks later and they just keep getting better. I think I have traded my shoe addiction for bras :). I am back to working out and that is helping with the sag quite a bit. They continue to fluff and I can only say how very I happy I am with my decision. Updated on 8 Jan 2013: 7 months later and it's still the best decision I ever made. I've been working out and I'm now training with an MMA certified trainer and getting ready to run a 5k in March. Could not imagine doing this with the implants still in. I really like the way they look, No more sag than you would expect naturally on a47 year old.

Questions Regarding Delayed Side Effect

I initiated fraxel in order to remove some acne scars on my cheeks. It did not work as well as I hoped, but it definitely removed fine lines and tightened my skin tone. I also NEEDED that little stress ball they give you even after letting the numbing cream stay on my face for an hour before treatment.I had Fraxel Laser treatments, my last was almost a year ago. I began noticing brown patches on my cheeks and forehead about 3 or 4 months ago. There is also a small one on my nose. Is it possible that the side effects of Fraxel may take a few months to appear? I also started using a new moisturizer a couple of months before I noticed the brown patches. It is a bio cosmetic from Dr. Spiller, made in Germany. Could a cosmetic conceivably contribute to or cause the pigmentation? I have ordered Obagi to resolve the issue, but I am curious as to whether the Fraxel or my moisturizer caused it. I also use Skin-medica SPF 30 sunblock religiously on my face as was recommended by my doctor, and I am fair skinned. I do have Native American in my background, but only slight. Thank you for any advice in advance.
