Dr. Silver continues to keep me young looking! I had a mini face lift from Dr. Silver about 8 years ago. It has outlasted my wildest expectations! People have no idea how old I am! He also has the best bed side manners of any doctor anywhere. I continue to go to him for injectables - fillers and Botox. If I need anything cosmetic for my face, I'll have him do it! He's the best! Dr. Silver did an amazing job with my rhinoplasty. He has also been very available as far as questions and concerns, giving me his personal cell #. It has been 3 weeks since my rhinoplasty and so far I am very pleased. His staff is friendly as well. I just kind of gave him the reigns on my rhinoplasty because he knows what he's doing and it turned out great!

Doctor Silver and his staff were awesome! this was my first plastic surgery procedure and he answered all my questions and walked me through everything. During his consultation, he used data imaging to show how my nose will look after the surgery. It was great getting to picture it and knowing that we both had the same goal in mindl. I had a large hump on my nose and he did a beautiful job fixing it. He was very gentle and I really was not in too much pain during the recovery time. I have recommended him to all my friends and my cousin liked mine so much she went to him too! I always get compliments on how natural and beautiful my nose looks.

To freshen my face, open up my eyes, get rid of skin under neck. I had experienced a divorce and my faced looked as weary as I felt. The doctor recommended a brow lift and the results were beautiful. However, read on to see what happened as a consequence of the surgery. My experience with the doctor was wonderful. He was caring, kind and very good. The follow-up care was good and initially looked like I had healed well. Unfortunately the procedure triggered in me an autoimmune response that brought me to my knees.

I don’t know what happen along the way. The first surgeon I went to in 2014 for my deviated septum was a qualified ENT in my area and I trusted that it would be a simple surgery. In the weeks following my first septo the septum collapse and completely moved into the left side of my nose it was so severe that it was very visible when you looked at my nose from the outside. 2015, I had to have a septo/rhino with a qualified facial plastic surgeon/ENT to repair it. I had to go to someone who accepted my insurance at the time (Dr A). Dr Silver was my first choice then, but since he was out of network I couldn’t use him. When I woke up from surgery my cast was crooked and I knew then that something was wrong. My nose was as crooked as it was before surgery but this time it went in the opposite direction. Months of steroid injections just made the issues more apparent and I ended up with an inverted V and a Polly break deformity. 2016, I had a closed revision with Dr A and he used an Alloderm implant to camouflage the inverted V. He shaved down some cartilage that caused the Polly break deformity and the projected point on my tip. The revision fixed some things but my nose was still crooked and my nostrils were asymmetrical. My bridge wasn’t smooth and I had to use make-up tricks to camouflage the dips and dents. Dr A had been very good to me and I believed he tried to do his best, but I wasn’t confident in going back to him for another revision. My instincts sent me back to Dr Silver for a 3rd consultation. My gut had always sent me back to him every time, but I always felt bound by insurance and later by loyalty to go to Dr A. This time I was following my gut! Pre Op done and date for surgery is set with Dr Silver! This review, for now, is set at a “Maybe” only because I’m a nervous wreck! I plan and know that I will change it to 100% worth it after it’s all said and done. Asking for prayers and support if you are following this review or if you are going through this too. Updated on 2 Jan 2018: Nerves were shot, but I took the plunge anyway. Putting my faith in Dr Silver was an understatement. This was huge to me and the biggest and scariest decision I had made in years. I had a graft taken from the ear I had left to create a spreader graft on the right side of my nose to help stabilize my septum. He did a couple of other things to smooth out the appearance of my bridge as well. I had also mentioned my asymmetrical nostrils to him, but he believed that when he centered my tip it would help to even out my nostrils. The recovery has not been easy. My ear hurts more than my nose and he placed the left over cartilage behind my ear (in my hairline), which was pretty painful initially. The pain pills work, but all I want to do is sleep. Cleaning my bandage for the first time, I noticed how much I was bleeding and how asymmetrical my nostrils were. Way worse then they were before. It definitely gave me a scare and I am doing my best not to freak out or jump to any conclusions. I knew that this would be scary for me, but I underestimated how scary. Giving someone that much control over your appearance and trusting them with your face (with something that is not reversible) is the most frightening feeling in the world. A surgery like this can either build you up or tear you down. Updated on 4 Jan 2018: Thanks to Dr Silver and his wonderful team all my worry and concerns have been put to rest for now. I am going to focus on healing and try not to be my own worst critic or enemy right now. I have a tendency to feel like a bother when I voice my concerns and fears, but Dr Silver has had a lot of patience with me and was very reassuring. So for the next couple of months I will plan to wait and see how things heal and change. I will update when I have my next follow up with him. Updated on 26 Jul 2018: So far things are going well. There have been some things a long the way that have caused me a lot of anxiety and worry, but I can honestly say that Dr. Silver has address them and things are really starting to settle and look much better. I kick myself everyday for not going to him first and having another doctor do my original rhino-septo. I know at the time I made the decision because of my insurance but if I had to do it all over I would have paid the out-of-network cost to go to Dr Silver instead. I know I would not be dealing with the issues I am dealing with now if I had gone to Dr Silver first! He can do this stuff in his sleep and he pretty much knows how to fix most if not all of the problems I have faced along the way. Very happy so far that I did this and followed my heart by going to him this time. Updated on 29 Apr 2019: It’s been 16 months and I’m exhausted from this experience. My concern with doing to Silver before this was that he never would really tell me what he was going to do to fix the issues I had. After being referred by a surgeon and friend that I really trusted to Silver I thought that maybe I was being to needy by expecting so much detail from Silver during the consultations. Silver has 55+ yeas of experience and who could real argue with that.... right?! Well, I should have trusts my gut. Now I’m left with a nose worse then I had before. Silver didn’t do anything that I told him that I wanted and needed. My nose now has a crooked columella, a loose piece of moveable cartilage on the right side of my top and on the top of the bridge. it’s too short for my face, It’s wider, and is not straight. It’s also round at the tip instead of the slope I had. It’s given me nightmares and I hate looking in the mirror. When I took the bandage off after surgery I was horrified, but I stayed patient and went through the process hoping for a better outcome. It was the opposite of his digital images he did in his office of what I would look like and I look nothing like I was suppose to. He told me to get rid of all the mirrors in my house about a month after surgery so I didn’t look in the mirror much and wouldn’t let people take my picture. Last week when I saw him the last time he told me that he knew what I needed so that I would feel better about my nose.... “Prozac.” I told him that wasn’t right. Not only is he fake and two faced but what he did to my nose was wrong. If he couldn’t fix it or make it better she shouldn’t have touched it. All those decades of experience and I ended up with this. He told me that he didn’t want to do do the surgery after he saw what I looked like afterward.
