I can go on and on about Dr. Schleicher but I will try to keep this short. I traveled all the way from NC, abt 2 hrs away for his services. Not once did I ever feel unwelcomed or unheard. Just from the moment he walks in the room u can see his smile under the mask. Absolutely perfect bedside manner. He pretty much treated me like you would want your family member to be treated if they were having a major operation. I explained to him how I get nasty irritations and rashes under my pannus and I would like to explore a smoother contour using the procedure called panniculectomy. He consulted with me and stated I would be an ideal candidate. Although insurance denied my claim I was so certain nobody would touch me I asked him would he be able to get me a cash quote. I literally picked up a second job to pay for surgery in a couple of months. I had my panniculectomy 11/22. When I tell you I cried when I first looked in the mirror. I am a weight loss patient having lost about 60 pounds presently but the feeling of oh I still feel like this was in vain b/c I still had the pannus was disheartening. Well, I no longer have the pannus. I had 0, and I mean 0 pain since the moment I woke up from surgery. The staff from his office to Henrico's Doctors Hospital is unmeasurable. Everyone is so welcoming and understanding. I will ALWAYS take that trip to VA to consult with Dr. Schleicher of any cosmetic concerns or enhancements I may want/need. I can NEVER thank him enough for restoring my figure and giving me my confidence back. Compliments, day after day is all I receive and I am only 19 days PO. I will gladly recommend him to anyone needing cosmetic/reconstructive surgery. He is truly a master of his skill. Oh and my incision line is beautiful. I know it will be flawless after scar treatment. If I even decide to treat it cause its so thin. I will try to share progress photos as the next year progresses.

Dr. Schleicher was personable and professional; explained surgical options to treat my basal cell carcinoma; was responsive to my concerns during my 6-8 week recovery; and performed reconstructive surgery on a very difficult area on my nose with optimal results. My procedure included MOHS surgery to remove the basal carcinoma; cartilage fillers to fill the area where tissue was removed; and finally a skin graft to cover the open area.

Dr. Schleicher and Dr. Rausch were phenomenal with my Mons Pubis Lift and aftercare/recovery. Dr. Schleicher and his team treat me like royalty. He worked with my schedule and my insurance to perform this life improving surgery. When I started at 410 pounds I had no idea how much extra skin I would have hanging after 3 years of steady weight-loss (currently 190 pounds). After my panniculectomy I desperately needed a Mons lift to improve my exercise capabilities (I love to swim and that saggy skin got in the way). The surgery was painless. However I did have a hematoma open up after surgery and Dr Rausch saw me after hours on a holiday weekend to reassure me and care for my incision. The hematoma was normal but I was a nervous wreck. Dr Rausch and Dr Schleicher both care for their patients and step up for each other to ensure constant care for their patients. You will never be in better hands than with these two fantastic surgeons!

Dr Schleicher is an exceptional and compassionate surgeon. His meticulous artistical expertise and strategic goal's, result in extraordinary outcomes! He changed my appearance and increased my self-esteem with his genuine warmth and hand craft! A phenomenal surgeon!

I went to Dr Rausch in July for mohs surgery on my nose. Dr Schleicher who partners with Dr Rausch then did a skin graft to repair the mohs location. Within 3 weeks I couldn’t even tell I had surgery. I would highly recommend Dr Schleicher. He’s kind and professional. He did a great job explaining the process and my choices for repair. His nurse was wonderful as well as. I couldn’t ask for a better experience or result. It was great that Dr Schleicher is in the same office with Dr Rausch so there was no riding to another office. The mohs doctor that was recommended to me by my dermatologist did not have a plastic surgeon in office.
