In 2017 had lobular cancer on left breast with IORT ( in operative radiation treatment) on time shot of radiation I would highly recommend it if your a candidate, I had large implants which they were able to work around, if I would have known then what I know now I would have had them removed, Dr Schmitt was not at Virginia Mason clinic then, after 2 years of looking at my ugly disgusting breasts I wanted to go way smaller almost normal, Dr Schmitt listened as I'm 69 and wanted to look my age, to me the big breasts were all you saw, at 5'2" and 120, I wanted to be conservative

Dr Schmitt listens and did a remarkable job telling me it would take 2 stages, I wanted it done all at once!! He was ABSOLUTELY right!!!!! I am now 2 months post op and just saw him, we are scheduled for op in October to finish this procedure, dr Schmitt is the dr you want, he is very innovative and skilled in his craft, a perfectionist, I have all the faith in the world with him..., no more bigger, just better.......

As a transgender individual Dr. Schmitt's office was very inviting, and welcoming. He was very honest about what he thought about my outcome about my breast augmentation. He took pictures for my file so there's something to look back at, and decide on what size implants fit my frame.

First, my disclaimer: I am /not/ transgender, I am a young lady that unfortunately has suffered from high dosages of testosterone during the formative portions of my life. Furthermore, I /really/ dislike that term, I fit the technical definition, however, that is not how others behave, instead treating me like a "fake" female. Those with similar physiology as myself know what I mean.

That over with, Dr Schmitt and his entire office is welcoming and friendly, which greatly placed me at ease. I knew from the very start that he had my best interests in mind, and I never doubted his capabilities. They even aided me in dealing with my insurance company, and yes it was covered. It was interesting, I went in to the hospital for an appointment in a different department, and Dr Schmitt was mentioned to me since he was thinking of possibly branching into performing Augmentations for individuals such as myself, and I said "sign me up, I'll be the first". I most certainly have not regretted it for a single moment, and am still working with him and sharing my experiences so he can learn the after-effects for us ladies that have suffered from excessive testosterone exposure. If you are one that has suffered from similar exposure, and you have looked into this procedure locally, then you know most are not willing.
