You may even be able to re bond the tooth with a new restoration. It would certainly facilitate color match. It depends on the size of the old restoration, amount of decay, and skill of your current dentist in the area of direct bonding. All I am saying is that you can ask the question to your dentist regarding the feasibility of this type of treatment. I an sure that you would get an honest and hopefully logical answer.Good luck.
The gap in your teeth is too large to get a natural looking result using crowns or veneers. Additionally since one of your front teeth sticks out, it would need to be cut down more, and possibly result in need of root canal treatment.Your teeth appear to be healthy and not need extreme color change, so orthodontics and perhaps a bit of dental whitening would be your best solution by far.Go for the orthodontic consult!
I love doing veneers, but only when they are logical choice for my patient. You could do porcelain veneers "after" doing periodontal surgery, which includes surgery of the gums and bone, but I would surely not recommend it. Orthodontics would produce more attractive and longer lasting results, do less damage to your teeth and bone, and probably cost less. I would re think this one Joshua.
