Very professional, answered all my questions and thoroughly explained the procedure. Made me feel comfortable discussing options and was realistic about my expectations. All my post-op concerns were heard and he went over expected outcomes and what to look for.
This was a huge decision to make and I was so blessed to have Dr. Huffaker to ease my mind and take the time to answer all my questions! I had a Mommy Makeover- breast lift/augmentation/liposuction in 4 places and my arms and the tummy tuck! I am about 9 weeks post right now and it’s just amazing how my body looks already!!! I am so happy I took the leap!
Dr. Huffaker was by far one of the very best doctors I have ever met. He was informative, patient, his bedside manner was 2nd to none. If you’re thinking about this procedure I would recommend contacting him.
Dr. Huffaker has performed a few surgeries for me. He is always patient and understanding of my concerns. His staff is very knowledgeable and easy to talk with. My first breast augmentation was amazing. He gave me exactly what I wanted. I had the second breast augmentation , because after my children my breast had gotten too big for me. We decided to place silicone implants. I was very happy, but after 9 years I had a rupture in my left implant and had to have a revision. I am 5 weeks out now and they are exactly what I hoped for. They are smaller, but I love the way they look. I recommend Dr. Huffaker to everyone. He is a wonderful surgeon. You won't be disappointed.!!
Always professional, courteous and knowledgeable office staff. Dr. Huffaker takes the take to answer any questions you have and make you feel comfortable before and after surgery. Would recommend office to friends and family anytime.
Dr Huffaker was amazing!!! I love my new body! The Office was amazing, the surgery center was amazing!! All around Amazing!!! The nurses are exceptional at the surgery center. Amanda - Dr. Huffakers nurse- is WONDERFUL!!! I looked forward to my Dr's appointments because she was so fantastic! Took great care of me, and helped make me feel better at every check up!!! If and when I get more work done I will for sure go to Dr Huffaker and Amanda!!!!
As my surgery approached, I was very anxious. Dr. Huffaker and his team worked with me to make sure I understood the procedures. I was prepared to limit the procedures but after my conversations I felt comfortable going through all the procedures. My biggest concern was looking like I'd had plastic surgery. It is two weeks after surgery and though I'm still healing I look like myself except younger. I couldn't be more pleased.
It's been 4 years and 4 months since my surgery and I am still just as happy now as I was after surgery. Dr Huffaker is great. Easiest surgery I have ever had. I definitely highly recommend Dr Huffaker and St Louis Cosmetic Surgery and Spa.
Nothing but good things to say he’s very knowledgeable and gave my exactly what I was looking for. He guided me on what size, material and shape to get and I love my new look! Thank you so much to him and his entire staff, everyone is so friendly and accommodating.
I absolutely loved Dr Huffaker. I had multiple consultations with other surgeons before deciding to go with Dr Huffaker. He was the nicest and most understanding out of all the surgeons I met with. His bedside manner is excellent! He did a wonderful job on my tummy tuck, lipo, and breast lift/augmentation. I’m loving my results and have had no issues. Recovery was easy and went so smoothly!
You need to give yourself more time. There is always a potential problem when you work on the capsule on one side because that side will tend to be looser. Over time the capsule will likely tighten a little on the left and the right side swelling will disappear allowing the right to drop somewhat. I would expect them to be more symmetrical in 3-6 months. If not, a release can be done at that time.
From your photos, you appear to have loose skin as well as a large amount of intra-abdominal fat. The excess skin can be removed, but there is a limit on how much compression of the intra-abdominal fat you can have done. If the muscles are tightened too much and excess pressure is placed upon your intra-abdominal fat, circulation can be restricted in the portal vein and vena cava. Weight loss before surgery will give you a better and safer result. I hope this answers your question. Good Luck.
From your photos, you appear to have primarily a weakness of your abdominal muscles and not excess skin. You would benefit from either an endoscopic approach or a small lower incision. Your muscles will have to be tightened up all the way up to your xyphoid. Good Luck.
From your photo you appear to have a moderate amount of ptosis (raising your arms lifts your breasts as well). A crescent lift is actually a nipple-areolar lift. It really does not lift the bottom of the breast much. A Circumareolar lift (going all the way around the areola) is similar to the crescent lift but is able to tighten up the breast skin slightly and to reduce the size of the areola. The vertical (lollipop) lift by removing skin beneath the breast gives much more lift than either a crescent or circumareolar lift. The anchor lift by removing skin in both the vertical and horizontal directions is used to lift a longer breast which hangs further downward.I would recommend a vertical lift for you.
If everything goes well, you would probably do ok as an outpatient. However, I would recommend staying overnight after having those procedures. I normally keep an iv in overnight for fluid replacement as well as a urinary catheter after a mommy makeover. I can also administer stronger pain medications while in the hospital. I always inject Marcaine or Exparel while in the OR to help with the pain afterwards. As the length of the operation exceeds 4 hours, I prefer to keep the patients overnight.
