He is magical- believe me! I was going to Dr. Romero for years and never looked anything but discretely wonderful- Then, thinking I would need more than fillers and Botox - I went to consult with highly recommended surgeons- for an upper birth only- each time I let them inject me - each office wanted a review posted on their in office iPad before leaving. Each time I was horrified ( I figured allow them to do a minor fix so that they can understand my face in preparation for an upper bleth) Romero has me spoiled and I didn’t even realize it! Morotta gave me duck lips- I am still suffering 2.5 years later and Mandani charged me a whole lot $$$ for Botox that was a 2month experience- never giving me the lift that Dr.Romero so effortlessly does. James Christian was so unimpressive unless your 25. Dr.Romero is an underinjector in THE BEST WAY POSSIBLE- he never made me look “Done” He has an esthetic sense that is realistic and elegant. I will never drift again! Oh yes last year for my birthday I was in NYC getting a micro needle with PRP- I even got talked into a Manhattan “5 point” lift OmG she almost threw me into being a hermit - recked my birthday!!!! She injected the bridge of my nose!!!! I am still puffy there like a lizard!!!!!! I waited quietly for 6 months to gently crawl into Dr.Romeros office. AHHHH every day I look in the mirror and smile - feeling like myself I promise undying loyalty to the poised magician- Hats off to you Dr.Romero <3
I love Dr Romero. I’ve had Botox done several times. Twice I went to another doctor. I was so excited last time Dr. Romero did my Botox, which was 2 months ago. The next morning it already started working ! I’m going to schedule another appt with him tomorrow. I’ve also had 3 Vi-peels done as well as lip fillers by him. Only negative comment I have is that his daughter Janice moved to Georgia. She did my micro embroidery on my eyebrows and her work is impeccable. Nobody on Long Island comes close to her work.
Dr Romero is a genius at Botox! He is very thorough in explaining the procedure, about the product he uses and what to expect. His prices can't be beat. He takes his time with you. I barely felt anything as he performed the procedure and I had no bruising. The results were as promised - not over frozen, but natural and smooth skin. I would go no where else but to him again.
I had juvederm done to my lips and they came out fabulous. Dr. Romero is very personable and knowledgable. He used a non bruising needle so I was able to leave there with absolutely no bruises. He was quick and very efficient, I couldn't be happier! He also has a rewards program so you save money each time you go!
This was my second time going to Dr romero and an say I am happier than the first time. He takes his time, and his ultimate goal is to keep the patient happy - not just take your money. The first time I did my lips at another doctor I was so swollen and bruise. DR Romeo explained he uses a small needle and I would hardly swell - he wasn't lying! Swelling was minimal and no bruising at all! My lips look great and I will definately be going back
I have been a very happy patient of Dr. Romero for a couple of years now. He does my Botox injections every few months and a year ago I decided to try a filler for my hollow under eye area which I felt made me look tired and older. Dr. Romero recommended 1 syringe of Belotero. The results were immediate and it looked great. My face looked fresher and younger with very little discomfort and no downtime. The results were subtle but made a difference and lasted about 9 months. A couple of months ago I went back to Dr. Romero to get the area filled again and but this time he used 2 syringes and it turned out great. He doesn't believe in over filling/correcting and always recommends starting with smaller amounts but has never steered me wrong. I am very pleased with the results and wish I hadn't waited this long to do it. I no longer feel self conscious about my face and although I don't wear makeup everyday, when I do wear some it looks flawless now.
I have been a patient of Dr. Romero's for a couple of years, but only did Botox and cheek fillers in the past. I have been VERY happy with my results. Although I work out regularly and try and keep myself in good shape, I was noticing changes in my face as I was aging more. At first I wasn't sure what it was. When I realized my temples had sunken and I immediately made an appointment to see Dr. Romero.
My photos will follow, but I wanted to post a review of my recent experience with Juvederm Voluma at the Romero Clinic in Dix Hills, Long Island (NY). The first time I visited Dr. Romero's pristinely clean and lovely office, it was to ask for advice about parentheses lines around the mouth. I'm 37 and, while the lines aren't deep yet, they bother me and make it seem like my face is longer, thinner, and more tired looking. A different plastic surgeon I had consulted three months prior suggested Boletero, which she injected straight into the lines. The result, as you can probably imagine: the lines were slightly more filled in, but at the expense of it looking as if the area was puffier than normal. Not a good look. Right away, Dr. Romero told me I would be a good candidate for Juvederm Voluma. He stressed to me that the solution to these lines isn't to fill them in, but to "lift" the face so that some of the volume we naturally lose in our cheeks as we age is replaced. What I love most about him is that he told me he'd use Boltero if I wanted it, but that he feels I'd simply be throwing away my money. To boot, he advised the woman who went in for a consultation before me (with her husband) not to have any work done because she wasn't 100% confident she wanted it. Dr. Romero doesn't need any more business -- he already has a loyal following -- which helped reassure me that he wasn't about to inject me with any old substance just to make a buck. He quoted me two prices for Voluma ($1,500) and Restylane (which is a bit less expensive). After weeks of research, I finally decided on Voluma because I found several positive reviews about it and like the idea that it might last as long as two years (though, realistically, I'd be thrilled if I got 18 months out of it). I was extremely nervous on the day of my appointment and nearly canceled it several times. As I waited for him to see me, a woman came out of his office and told me she was 58 and has been seeing Dr. Romero for 10 years. She looked about 40. I felt a lot better. After viewing several YouTube videos about Voluma, I expected to be poked 5-6 times in each cheek. Nope. Dr. Romero numbed my cheeks and led me to the procedure room 10 minutes later. He injected 1.6 ml of voluma in one cheek and 1.3 ml (I think?) in the other after reassuring me that 3 ml's wasn't as much as I thought (the models you see in Juvederm Voluma ads sometimes receive 6 ml's or more of the product). Here's proof of his skill: he only had to create one injection hole per cheek, right at the bottom of each cheekbone. The needle insertion itself doesn't hurt, but the feeling of the cannula needle moving around under the skin is very strange and a little uncomfortable. But it was over within minutes -- I'm not even sure it took that long. My cheek wasn't bloody (like some patients I've seen on YouTube vids) and I didn't bruise at all. I actually attended an event a few hours later and, despite looking a bit puffy (I felt like an Eastern European supermodel, so it could be worse) I don't think it was obvious that I had a procedure that morning (a bit of BB cream for red skin probably helped). I was sore the next day and for about three days after that. My cheeks were also a bit swollen, but not so much that I felt funny going out and living my life. My husband did NOT notice a thing (and, two weeks later, still hasn't noticed), which is a little annoying, but I think that's also the point of this procedure. My parenthesis line on the right side of my face has pretty much disappeared and the one on the left side, which was more prominent, isn't gone completely, but has faded. I think the fact that my face is more balanced, full, and healthy looking may simply distract from the parentheses lines. Overall, I am super happy with the results and would recommend Dr. Romero 100,000 times over, again and again. He's knowledgeable, highly experienced, truthful, and ethical. As for Voluma, I admit it's a lot of money to spend and not have a single soul notice you look different, but again, I think that's what makes it magical. I didn't want to look like I had work done, I just wanted to look more rested. Voluma has accomplished that. The scary part is that, once the swelling goes away, you find yourself unsure of whether this is simply your face -- that's how natural it looks. I imagine that's also how some women wind up going overboard and getting more, more, more (though, to each her own). In the future, depending on how this pans out, I would consider getting a bit more Voluma in each cheek, but I trust Dr. Romero so much that I would probably heed his advice.
I have been going to Dr Romero for about 2 years now. Not only is his office clean, but they are very accommodating when it comes to making appointments. He explains every procedure as well is patient with any questions you may have. I would not trust anyone else. I never bruise due to his latest equipment.
Dr Romero and his staff make you comfortable and relaxed from the minute you enter. His expertise shows when people comment how good you look without a clue you had anything done. He goes over everything he thinks to make you look great. never pushy. I always return to Dr. R and his staff. tried other places closer never happy. I highly recomend him.
