Running or any other physical activities may result sweating. From that point of view we don't recommend running first two days after the surgery. You can go running 2 days after LASIK as long as you are careful- do not rub your eyes and wear sunglasses to protect your eyes. To be safe start with moderate running.
It is fine to fly two days after Lasik if you had your 1-2 days post op visit. Altitude or pressure changes would not affect surgery result. But you might need to use lubricating eye drops more often caused by dry air in the plane.
For high myopia it is safer to do PRK procedure, because it requires less tissue from the cornea, because a flap is not being created. The doctor will also determine if the patient requires PRK, based on their corneal thickness and curvature.
Astigmatism is a refractive error like myopia and hyperopia which can be corrected with a Lasik procedure.
Dry eye symptoms following by refractive surgery are relatively mild. Typically disappear in 3-6 months. However some patients have severe dry eye symptoms that might need to be treated with additional eye drops.
