Since middle school, I’ve despised the bump on my nose. I wouldn’t let people take pictures or videos of the side of my face and would always ask my boyfriend not to walk or sit on my “bad side” because the bump looked worse on one side than the other. Overall, I’ve always been a very confident person. I like the rest of my facial features and I spend a lot of time in the gym to maintain my physique. But my nose took away from that confidence completely. I was hyper-focused and hated looking at myself in the mirror at certain angles. Although I’m from California and couldn’t have an in-person consultation, he was able to analyze my photos, hear my concerns, and understand just what I wanted. His knowledge of every correction my nose required, from the most minor tweaks to the major changes, made me trust his expertise from the get-go. At my pre-op appointment, I met Dr. DeBusk in-person for the first time and he got to look closer at my concerns. Within minutes of looking at my nose, he had a clear, confident plan in place for me. I’m just a few days post-op, but Dr. DeBusk shared a photo of my transformation from the operating table that shows what my nose looked like immediately after surgery before the swelling started. He shared this photo because it gives me an accurate idea of what the final result will look like as months go by and the swelling subsides. I cried tears of joy. I truly could not be happier with this result and I cannot wait to see it slowly settle in! Dr. DeBusk has been very responsive over both email and phone to any questions or concerns I’ve had throughout my recovery. I’ve felt comfortable throughout this entire process and I am so glad I chose Dr. DeBusk to address an insecurity I’ve had for nearly half my life. I could not recommend him more.
